For a while, I was worried that it was going to be Buffy. But I just read issue #16 and I definitely got Xawn (is Xawn even a thing?) vibes. And then looking back, there has definitely been major bonding going on between the two of them throughout the whole of Season 8.

I think Bander should get together, but just for a bit, and then Xander should dump Buffy, coz then she knows what it feels like. And then Spike consoles her, and she realizes that Spike is the one she really wants. That would be cool.

I hate that Buffy believes she developes a "thing" for him, she was just lonely. It should've never been that way between them, not after the first season, anyways. She can't go from not feeling it then, to feeling it now that she's at her most powerful! But, yeah, a lot of us know what happens........so.......
