Another school shooting pushes one retired police detective into taking a stand -- right in front of his local elementary school, a controversial move that excites the political and community forces both for and against him, leading to a fateful and explosive climax.
The short novel School Xing is bound to be controversial, even though it doesn't actually show a school shooting -- rather it is the story of one man's reaction to the ongoing phenomenon of these shootings. My feeling is, well, we have to talk about this problem if we're ever going to solve it. And this book does offer some innovative and workable solutions!
