First off, I'm going to say a few things. Yes, I categorized this as news. Second, I believe येशु existed. Not as a holy being, but as a good, respectable guy who preached his religion, as a historical figure . But, using the Bible's own logic, I'm going to try and collapse the whole holy image of येशु and leave the picture of a man. Imperfect, sure, a religious dude, but I don't have a problem with religious people. I was raised Christian (my parents don't know I'm an atheist), but off of the idea that येशु was not perfect.
NOTE: This whole delicate लेख is balancing on the fact that...

There has been thoughts on my mind a lot these last few days and I think its time I talk about them.

But before I go on, let me just say that I am NOT trying to make people angry या start a "war" on the 'net, I'm just gonna say how I honestly feel about all this.

When I go on the 'net, I discover tons of "religious wars" going back and forth over who's right या wrong about what people believe and the way they think.

To me, I choice to be in the neutral spot when it comes to things like this. Why? Because humans have become "one-sided" and are getting worse. Only focusing on one side causes fights...

Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian

10 - आप vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed द्वारा other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

9 - आप feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but आप have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - आप laugh at polytheists, but आप have no problem believing in a Triune God.

7 - Your face turns purple when आप hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but आप don't even flinch when...

It happens to all of us. We are in a conversation with a believer and we end up in an argument, frustrated and upset that the believer walked away with even stronger convictions about their faith then before. Many of us have दिया up trying to talk to believers. It seems hopeless and pointless. After all, they all drag out the same tired arguments.
Evolution is just a theory.
You can’t prove there is no God.
Atheism is also faith.
We couldn’t have just come from nothing
I know God exists from personal experience.
These are just a few. How do we speak to someone with these certainties? It appears...

"As an atheist, आप will occasionally meet a non-atheist who wishes to argue against your belief system. If आप are interested in discussing the matter, आप may want to prepare yourself द्वारा learning these simple responses to common anti-atheist arguments.

The Bible says that atheism is wrong.

"The Bible also says some guy's donkey talked."

If आप believe in God and are wrong, then it's no big deal, but if आप don't believe in God and are wrong, you'll be punished eternally, so it's not a good idea to be an atheist.

"What happens when we're dead? The irony is that all our सवालों wil be answered after we die. We spend our whole life trying to figure out the truth and the only way we'll find out what it is, is to get hit द्वारा a bus. And the only comfort that religion offers is that God is driving that bus." - John Ryman, When Galaxies Collide

"We would be 1,500 years ahead if it hadn't been for the church dragging science back द्वारा its coattails and burning our best minds at the stake." - Catherine Fahringer

"If we are going to teach 'creation science' as an alternative to evolution, then we should also teach...

Why don’t आप believe in God? I get that सवाल all the time. I always try to give a sensitive, reasoned answer. This is usually awkward, time consuming and pointless. People who believe in God don’t need proof of his existence, and they certainly don’t want evidence to the contrary. They are happy with their belief. They even say things like “it’s true to me” and “it’s faith.” I still give my logical answer because I feel that not being honest would be patronizing and impolite. It is ironic therefore that “I don’t believe in God because there is absolutely no scientific...

I was going to post this as a मंच topic, but since मंच topics don't दिखाना up in updates, I decided to post this as an article. Please feel free to answer any/all the सवालों in the टिप्पणियाँ on this article, या write up your responses in your own article!

This first group of सवालों I have adapted from link. आप can probably see why I have adapted them... Anyway, have a go at responding to these सवालों and hopefully that will prompt some deep thinking and debate!

1. How do आप define atheism?

2. How do आप define "truth"?

3. Why do आप believe atheism is a justifiable position to hold?...

The story of Noah’s Ark and the flood is one of the most लोकप्रिय stories in the Bible and Koran. It also has become one of the most polarizing arguments in the Creationism vs. Evolution debate. The वाद-विवाद really is a by-product of denial of history and science द्वारा the faithful and their leaders. The वाद-विवाद has been over for the last 150 years या so, since Charles Darwin’s Origin of Species showed that all living things evolve over long periods of time.

Many of the so called debates deal mainly with the science of evolution, but rarely the history of the actual story itself. It is important...

" I deal with Christian lies on a daily basis. These lies range from the myth that Einstein was a theist, to the claim that there is conclusive evidence for Jesus’ existence. I had to make this page so that I could collect some common lies told and present the truth behind the matter. There are hundreds of things I feel compelled to discuss but I shall it to a चोटी, शीर्ष five list. The चोटी, शीर्ष five lies Christian’s tell:

Darwin recanted on his deathbed. This is completely fabricated and has...

Are we at the ground floor of the end of religion and the start of a dominant secular society? Although the decline of belief in America is evident, the country still remains largely religious. 80% of Americans believe in a personal god. I see small glimpses of true secularism and atheistic movements chipping away at religious institutions and thought. We can see what the future of a true secular and atheist society will look like द्वारा observing the leaders, social media, and local atheist communities. The fear and skepticism of atheists द्वारा the faithful still remains to be a roadblock to progress,...

I know that this will probably anger some people, but this was just to good to pass up. These are word for word passages from the bible. There is proof in the bible that zombies are coming.

Zechariah 14:12

12And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

sounds a lot like zombies doesn't it? Many people take the bible as the truth, and also see it as a book of prophecy....

I found this on a website, and lets just say that it's one of the biggest FAILS I've ever come across. Clearly whoever made this has never learned about the Water Cycle, *facedesk*

"The amount of water on earth is 1.386x10^21 liters.

Lets assume that people will only use 2 liters of water per day. This is a lot less than people actually use, but for simplicity we'll only take the optimal drinking quantity per day.

There are 6 billion people on earth (closer to 7 billion, but let's be generous to the atheists). This means that we drink 12 billion liters of water per day. (12x10^9 liters)...

So I'm 15, and already I have discovered the sad truth of the world, people hate others. Sure आप may be thinking, "Duh! Of course people hate people! What are आप stupid?" But, what I mean is that they HATE me cuz of something I believe in, and I am only 15. 15 and people want me dead या thrown out of America, या they want me to be converted या a slave या whatever. I am 15 years old, 15 and people my age want me dead because I'm atheist.

Apparently because of my lack of religion, I am a cold, heartless, soulless person. I am cruel and emotionless, and all opinions I have are false. 13 years...

"As I was leaving work today, I noticed an older woman sitting alone. She sat on one of those walker/stools which have become quite popular. I thought it odd as the park was closed. So I stopped to ask, “Are आप waiting for a ride?”

She smiled at me and, in a beautiful North Carolina Piedmont accent, replied. “Oh, yes. My husband and I parked at the mall and he just walked over to get the car. So I hope he’s picking me up.”

3. आप shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, या that is on the earth beneath, या that is in the water under the earth. आप shall not bow down to them या worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and fourth generation of those who reject me. I had often heard people say that not believing in god requires the same amount of faith as believing.
After that, I was mostly feeling outraged. But it got me thinking. I decided that there is something wrong with equalizing atheism with religion, but not in the way I thought before.

Let me explain.

Atheism - god(s) doesn't (don't) exist
Theism - god(s) does (do) exist

At this point, atheism and theism have made the same number of assumptions about the universe (given that there is no evidence of either).
I can already see some of the believers all smug: "Aha, so not believing requires the same...

I looked through some images, most of them had nice comments...but after I saw a few...I saw some CHRISTIANS टिप्पणी दे on how angry they were या how they want to 'spread the word'.

All I want to सलाह आप Atheists is:
Don't reply to them, या if आप reply just say '@[username]Get out, this spot ain't for you.', आप know what they say, 'silence is golden'.

Recently, I embarked on the exciting, educational quest of पढ़ना the Bible from start to finish As of right now, I’m still on the Genesis-read, no further than page fifteen, and already I feel a rant coming on, which is presumably just the first of many that I‘ll feel the urge to write while पढ़ना the Bible. Basically, the first major things that both bugged me, intrigued me, and didn’t seem to add up was the incest factor. Without further ado, I present Bible rants, part one!
