Sort of. It takes a lot of Catholic डिज़ाइन and some symbols (the पार करना, क्रॉस like staffs) but the actually religion is pretty different. The ऐनीमे it self was one of the most creative ones i've watched

Ah, I see now. I bet this series is too. Thanks for the info. Now I can imagine the characters have to contend with malevolent gods too?

It is really good I enjoyed it :) Yea it never got really लोकप्रिय I don't think but it was a cute show.
