What are your चोटी, शीर्ष 10 of Alan's movies? ;)

If I can count the HP series as 6 I'll add - Truly Madly Deeply, Sense and Sensibility, Galaxy Quest and Snowcake. I haven't seen Bottle shock yet so don't have any thoughts on that one.

I haven't seen Close My Eyes yet, द्वारा the way, so I couldn't take it into consideration.

i प्यार him is प्यार actually and all the harry potters. sweeney todd too but i cant remember the names of the other फिल्में i've seen him in.... :)

#7 प्यार Actually ( he was funny)
#8 Dogma( he is an एंजल in real life)
#9 Alice in Wonderland( liked that film generaly but didnt have enough Alan Rickman)
#10 The खोजिए for john gissing ( i like when he loose his coolness)

in other words i couldn't really choose because i प्यार him in all of his फिल्में but this would be my चोटी, शीर्ष 10( चोटी, शीर्ष 12)

Though I'd rather think in terms of characters he played. He has the knack of making lovable/funny/sexy the evil characters he played. He excels at playing ambiguous characters too - that's where I प्यार him most. At the same time, he's very good at playing gentle/sweet/funny characters. A very versatile actor, so complete in his art. Here is my सूची :

* Closet Land - for the issues and his great interpretation, he plays with his voice like an opera singer
* All the Harry Potter फिल्में - OK, he was made for the part of the ever-ambiguous Severus Snape, and his voice in this part... *sigh*
* Sweeney Todd - evil Judge Turpin *silly Johanna*
* Mesmer - the movie features one of the most sensual and tender किस ever filmed
* Rasputin : only him could play that part, it was completely crazy, he is possessed in it
* Sense and Sensibility - दिखा रहा है a sweet side of his अभिनय abilities
* Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves : sexy and funny Sheriff of Nottingham. He चुरा लिया the दिखाना to a paling K. Costner in comparison
* Die Hard : one of the best heavies ever. And sexy too !
* प्यार Actually : delightful movie, he plays a man married but tempted द्वारा an affair...
* Cold Harbor : ambiguous part here too. And when he dived in that lake... naked... *sigh*

I haven't seen the others (not yet !) but I'm sure there are other gems in his filmography. And I hope there'll be others in the future too, just for our pleasure !

Well, seeing as I HATE Closet Land (Alan actually asked his प्रशंसकों not to watch it as he was so unhappy with the final result), Dogma (he was brilliant but what a heap of sh*t!) & the atrocious Nobel Son (why an actor of such a high calibre lowered himself to such a role I'll never know), I'll have to go with:-

2. Die Hard (Sexiest, most sophisticated 'villain' ever!)
3. Sense & Sensibility (I want to marry Col. B!)

7. Rasputin (Awesome performance!)
8. Blow Dry (Plays such droll, dour characters so well!)
9. John Gissing (Not brilliant as a film but great comedic role again!)
10.Love Actually (It was all that bitch's fault - she led him on!!)

1) Die Hard (first film I saw him in. It was प्यार at first sight).
2) Rasputin (brilliant acting, not to mention a great चुंबन scene).
3) Sense And Sensibility (who doesn't प्यार Col. Brandon?)
4) Snow Cake (both sad and funny)
5) Closet Land ( he and Madeleine Stowe were great in this two character tour de force)
6) Truly Madly Deeply (first time I saw him play a nice guy)
7) Robin हुड, डाकू (very funny, over the चोटी, शीर्ष performance. Upstages Kevin Costner imho.)
8) प्यार Actually ( Harry's a bit of a cad but loved watching Alan and Emma together again).
9) An Awfully Big Adventure ( What a sad, surprising ending)
10) The Harry Potter series (What और can I say? I loved the way he played Snape).

Wish this were a चोटी, शीर्ष 15 या 20. I would also have included the following:
11) Dark Harbor (talk about surprise endings, not to mention the strip scene!)
12) Dogma (in which he plays THE VOICE OF GOD. Gee, now that's not very surprising)
13) Something The Lord Made (very well acted द्वारा all and informative)
14) Mesmer (OMG. He looks so hot in those flowing robes and I know exactly how those moaning women felt)
15)Nobel Son (he was a real cad in this one.)
16) John Gissing (amusing - Can आप do the Alan dance and slide?)
17)Michael Collins (Alan and Liam - yay!)
18) Bottle Shock (Not my favorite, but it has it's moments)
19) Close My Eyes (his wife was nuts to choose her own brother over him) Also liked just looking at him in the following: Quigley Down Under (ride 'em cowboy!), Blow Dry ( a टिप्पणी दे comes to mind - Oops. I'd better keep that one to myself!), and January Man (hated the movie, loved Ed). Well, that's all folks.
