Zac Efron said a few months ago that marriage anytime soon isn’t for him, and now longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens has said she feels pretty much the same way.



The couple have been together for just over three years now, but at 20 and 21, neither of them are ready for marriage just yet.

Vanessa recently told People magazine:

“I think marriage and starting a family is great, but I’m so focused on my career right now that it doesn’t really cross my mind. The fact that kids look up to me is flattering. But at the end of the day, I want to do R-rated films, and I want to do things that are a bit edgier, so maybe some kids can’t see some of them.”

Vanessa is currently working on Beastly, a re-telling of the Beauty and the Beast story, and her next project is Sucker Punch, in which she’ll play a hooker. I’d say that’s pretty edgy! Zac is working on The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.
