Chapter Six:
Two weeks later...
"This is Taking too long." Becca said, pacing the room.
Sam seemed at ease. "Relax! It takes time to earn trust in these gangs."
"And I suppose आप would know that." Becca said, rounding on him.
Sam was, for once, caught off guard.
"Come on. It's obvious आप worked for Jazzman before!" Becca said.
Sam hesitated.
"Maybe..." he said.
"Don't 'maybe' me!" Becca said, growing angrier. Her eyes began to glow and Sam looked startled and even a little fearful.
"Why is it so important?" he asked.
"You worked for criminals!!!" Becca all but yelled.
"So?!" Sam replied, standing up. "So did you!"
Becca growled and pinned Sam to the wall. As strong as Sam was, he couldn't do anything against Becca's rage.
"Don't आप dare!" she said. "I had no choice! You! आप were a rich little brat!"
"Okay! Okay! Sorry!" Sam said. "Yeah, I did work for him two years ago. I was bored. Dad was always too busy to notice me! I wanted attention!"
Becca released her hold on Sam and her eyes faded back to their usual manner.
"All those years ago?" she quoted Jazzman.
"On and off." Sam explained. "A total of about six years. At first, I just gave away inside information about Grant Industries. Slowly I made my way through the ranks. I was close to becoming second-in-command. That was two years ago."
"And आप never spoke since?" Becca asked suspiciously.
"When I was 14, dad was thrown off of the चोटी, शीर्ष of Grant Tower. Everyone initially believed it was suicide. I didn't. I went to Jazzman for help, but he wouldn't. I took the law into my own hands. Vendicta and I brought the killer to justice." Sam कहा sadly.
"Vendicta?" Becca asked.
"Oh, read a holo-file!" Sam exclaimed.
Becca walked towards the door. "How does it feel?" she asked.
"What?" Sam asked.
"How does it feel?" Becca asked again. "To be back in the old gang? Exhilarating? Good? Just like old times? Like आप didn't have any responsibilities? Like youre JUST a rich brat again?"
Becca slammed the door behind her and Sam sat down hard, blinking back tears he wished had never been there.

"Becky!"
Only one person called Becca that. She curled her hands into fists and slowly turned around to face Jazzman.
"What?" she growled.
"Congrats!" Jazzman said. "You and Sam can meet the boss. Then, I'll reveal the master plan!"
"Good." Becca कहा while thinking: 'Someone's a bit over zealous.'
Sam was dressed in black sweatpants, a black sweatshirt, and a mask. Becca had on black leggings, a red mini-skirt, a black, leather जैकेट decorated with crimson, and had on her mask.
The two walked with Jazzman as he headed through a maze of buildings. Sam stealthily planted trackers along the way which immediately began transmitting to the Batplane, manned द्वारा Robin.
Jazzman grinned and opened a glass door. He ushered Becca and Sam inside.
"You can take off your masks now." Jazzman said.
Sam took off his and ran a hand through his hair, straightening it out. Becca frowned and left hers on. The mask was a dark crimson color with black गुलाब adorning it.
"I didn't know आप had a boss, Jazzy." Becca said.
"I'm surprised आप didn't pick up on it, Becky." Jazzman said.
Becca growled and reached for one of her knives. Sam held out a hand and continued walking.
As much as Becca hated to admit it, black looked good on Sam. And as much as Sam hated to admit it, his रंग looked good on Becca's perfect figure.
The two took the stairs up to the चोटी, शीर्ष of the building. They passed apartment rooms with rotting corpses and moth-eaten furniture in them. Becca made a face and continued walking.
At last they reached the top-story of the building. Sam could make out the left arm and leg of a man sitting in a chair. He was wearing what appeared to be a white business suit.
"To be, या not to be." the man began in a scratchy voice. "Yes, या no. To live, या to die. These are common questions. And among these is my favorite."
The man stood up and walked out of the shadows revealing half of his body was horribly scarred and burnt and clothed in black. The other half seemed undamaged and was clothed in white.
"Heads या Tails." Two-Face said.
