Superboy was just standing there- not staring at anything; not talking to anyone; not doing anything- just, standing there. Millions of thoughts rolled through his head like a wave crashing down on him. Was it true? What Robin had just said, about doubting his feelings for Superman? He didn't know. He couldn't find the answer to it. Just that, every time he thought about it, his mind went, blank. Every time he tried to talk to Megan about it, his mind went, blank. A gentle tapping on his shoulder made him turn around. "Conner, are आप ok?" Megan was there, with the most sincere face. Staring at him. "Y-Yeah." he stuttered out, "Just fine. I just need a little time to think." He gently pushed her arm off his shoulder. He didn't have time to face his girlfriend right now. Nor did he have any time to talk to anyone. He just wanted to be alone. "If this is about what Robin said-" Megan started. He cut her off, "It's not. I just want to be alone." Her face dropped a bit when he कहा that. He just sighed quietly and started to wander back to his room. But the walk back would be treacherous, he had to pass the mission room. Where the rest of the team was. He knew Robin would be there, and he did not want to get into another argument with him. Quickly and quietly he tried to walk past nonchalantly, but it didn't work. "Superboy, I'm-" Robin tried to say the words. But he just kept on walking. And when Superboy had already entered the room. "I'm sorry." Robin finished with a whisper. Wally put an arm over Robin, "Geez, tough luck buddy."
Superboy slumped over in his डेस्क chair and plugged his headphones into his iPod, choosing the loudest and most angriest song he had. Turning the volume up didn't help. He was still thinking about Superman. Maybe he was a bit jealous that he couldn't do all the things सुपरमैन could do; maybe he was a bit jealous that सुपरमैन got all the glory; but that was ok. All he wanted right now was to pour out his feelings to Megan. But he couldn't do that either, it would just be weird and out of character for him. He sighed and moved on to his bed, tapping his foot to the beat of the song. A line in the song caught his attention, "If आप प्यार me, let me know. If not, please let me go." Great, another thing to think about. The line started to evoke और thoughts, maybe he could quit and go solo. No, that wouldn't be any help to Megan, and आप can see how Red ऐरो turned out. या maybe he could confront सुपरमैन and tell him everything. No, it wouldn't come out right, he already knew that. Superboy thought and thought, but if he actually did try to tell the man, what if the words just cam out blank? He groaned and turned the volume all the way up, confused about all that was going though his head.
