"Oh, come ON, Bats, this is the only दिन she's gonna be in town!"
"For the last time, Erica, NO."
I glared at Batman, clutching the tickets for the Katy Perry संगीत कार्यक्रम that I was so very lucky to get.
"But--" I started.
"No," he कहा firmly, which marked the end of the discussion.
I sighed. "Look, everybody else is on a mission, and I'm stuck here doing nothing. So please--"
His communicator beeped; he looked relieved, but picked it up anyway. I heard a muffled voice from the other line, and बैटमैन nodded and said, "She's on her way."
He turned it off and looked at me. "Robin needs back-up in Gotham. Mr. Freeze is attacking the Gotham Mint."
I huffed, and marched off into the locker room without another word. I hurried in changing into Jeannette's Nightfury suit, then ran to the transporter.
I never knew exactly why I'd chosen to wear her suit; it felt like doing a justice for her, after what I made her go through.
I opened the telephone booth door and shot my Bat-Rope, borrowed from Batman, of course. I swung through the city until I reached the Gotham Mint, where police were crowded in front of something silver.
I landed in front of the silver thing, and gasped: it was Robin, stuck in a statue of ice.
"What happened?" I demanded.
"He tried stopping Mr. Freeze, and he froze him," answered an officer.
I rolled my eyes and went to the nearest cruiser. I rummaged in the trunk, and found a can of pepperspray, and a tazer. Together, the liquid formed a hole in the ice, where I used acid from my बेल्ट and burned the ice. Robin fell, shivering from head to toe.
"Are आप okay?" I asked, kneeling beside him.
"Y-yes," he stuttered through clenched teeth. "G-go get F-freeze!"
I nodded, then ran off inside the mint. Inside, the vaults for the cash were all thrown apart, with a few dollars scattered about. I pulled out my flashlight and looked for clues, when finally, I spotted a bear-sized hole on the edge of the bank.
"Still doesn't beat a Katy Perry concert," I muttered, following all the clues outside.

C'mon. Did आप really expect me to end it there? XD
Epilouge:
Slade moved into the room. He bowed before the dark shadow. The voice spoke to him.
“You failed me Slade.”
“I know master. But she is stronger than we first expected.”
“Yes. I know. I expected as much from her. But we now have her in a dangerous position.”
“Master?”
“Shade must make her choice. She has followed the Light for seventy years. Now, she must choose whether she is willing to risk everything या to continue to play hero.”
“And if she chooses hero?”
“She won't.”
“But Master-”
“Shade thinks she is in the clear. But I have one last trick up my sleeve.”

Robin:
i decided to take a quick walk to get Artemis and Wally's yelling out of my head. there where little snowflakes falling and frost gathered on the ground, the harbor had a happy Christmasy feel to it, i walked द्वारा a little group of kids and they were singing.
"Dashing through the snow, in a pair of broken skis over the hills we go crashing into trees bam, bam, bam the snow is turning red i think i'm almost dead woke up in the hospital with stitches in my head" the song was odd but the kids were laughing, आप just had to smile, but then the kids went on to the सेकंड verse.
"Jingle bells, बैटमैन smells," WAIT WHAT?! my eyes widen
"Robin laid and egg," I glare and stomp up the sidewalk, but the kids are still singing
"The Bat-mobile लॉस्ट its wheel and Joker flew away HEY, jingle bells, jingle bells.........." i mutter stupid kids
