Red ran to the bars and attempted to pull them off.
“Let me take care of that” I shot a couple beams of darkness at the bar and they broke apart. We ran through to the hole. Cheshire and some guy in a metal mask were running along the roofs to a helicopter. I made a flat disc for Artemis and Red to stand on. They got on. Megan and I flew.
“Okay, आप two shoot, Megan, आप play defense and I’ll keep आप guys in the air.” I ordered. The archers shot ऐरो after ऐरो at the targets, but they seemed to have no affect.
“Megan, use आप telekinesis to keep them in the air. I have a job to do” I said. Megan nodded. I made the disc disappear. I flew at somewhat astonishing speeds to the helicopter. I flew inside and destroyed the steering mechanisms, the rotors and the engine. I was about to rip off the door when something pierced my arm. I screamed in agony. I looked at my arm and saw a javelin going through it. I pulled it out and screamed again. I turned and found Cheshire and her little friend standing there.
“Thánatos, o theós tou thanátou! Servírete me! Ekdiki̱theí ton póno mou!” I screamed in Greek. Suddenly, Thanatos appeared. And he looked angry. He screeched at Cheshire and her friend and attacked. Blood was pouring from my arm. Artemis, Megan and Red ran over.
“Thalia, what happened?” Megan asked
“Call me Dusk” I कहा weakly
“Dusk, what happened?” Artemis demanded. I pointed to the bloody javelin.
“We need to stop the blood from flowing” Artemis instructed. Megan took off her cape and wrapped it around my wound.
“Help Thanatos” I managed. They looked back and saw Thanatos beating the crap out of the guy who broke Cheshire out. Cheshire was gone. I heard feet on metal and looked up just in time to see Cheshire coming down with two short sai. I put a shield over us and Cheshire just smacked into that. I made it in to a bubble.
“Great. Back in the black bubble of Doom” she sighed
“I should do to आप what your little friend did to me” I growled. Instead, I just smacked her around in the bubble. I heard Thanatos caw and I turned to find him holding a limp body of the guy who threw the javelin at me.
“Is he…?” I asked
“No, just unconscious” Thanatos replied in a raspy voice.
“Good. I hate that guy, but I wouldn’t go far enough to kill him.” I said. I went to take a step forward, but was too weak. Thanatos and Red caught me while Artemis and Megan worked on a makeshift stretcher out of metal. I shook my head a couple times and got up.
“I’m okay. Let’s put these two in Arkham Asylum and head home” I said
