"What did आप do to them?!" I demanded. Kid Flash and Artimus were knocked out, unaware that they were about to be shot.
The tall clown grinned. "We found these rats out back, tryin' to disable the alarm system. The others got away before we could get them."

"Kind of busy over here!" he replied mentally.

I looked around for things to bend. I was out of luck, for there was no water here.
"Now, let us handcuff you, and we'll take all of आप to the boss," purred the short and fat man.

What else could I do? I managed to think.
"Kill that one first, Boom!" ordered Joker, pointing at me.
"Gladly," the fat one uttered, and I could feel the cool touch of the gun against my head. He pulled the trigger, and BOOM!
The bullet bounced off my head.
"What the--" he keeled backward, but I broke out of my handcuffs and punched him across the room.
At last, Aqualad, Megan, and Robin crashed through the glass window and landed on Joker.
The tall clown pointed his gun at KF and Artimus, but Superboy intervened at once.
Joker cackled and reached into his pocket. "You brats were too late..." and he pushed the big red button.
All at once, the dynamite tickers turned on, at we had only five सेकंड्स left.
"Erica and Superboy, get KF and Artimus, NOW!" Aqualad ordered.
I got on my feet and grabbed Artimus and flew out with Superboy and KF holding onto my feet.
Megan telepathically held Aqualad and Robin, and we all flew out of the building just in time.
The last I heard was the laughter of the Joker.

"You were supposed to run a covert mission!" बैटमैन yelled in disapproval, back at Mount Justice. He distinctly looked at me and Superboy, who were the ones who ruined the mission.
"If we didn't barge in, the weaponry wouldn't have been found." I tried to keep my cool, because my mother always कहा it was impolite to yell at adults.
He took a deep breath, then let it out. "I know आप were, Erica, and I'm impressed that for a first-timer, आप did pretty well."
I smiled, then grunted and held my nose. That stupid clown broke the one thing I needed the most.

"What's wrong with him?" I asked Robin, who looked as uncomfortable as his mentor.
