Everyone still stood in Rene’s apartment, besides Zack, when Tess walked in.

    “Dammit, I though no one would be here.” Quickly she went over to Rene and shook her. “Rene! Wake up! You’re Rene, not Cosette!!” Blade pulled Tess off of Rene and threw her on the floor. Rene woke up quietly without anyone noticing.

    “Tess, we can’t do that to her!” Blade whisper shouted.

    “And why is that?”

    “Because she’ll get utterly confused, sad, and she’ll have no idea what the hell anything is!” Rene sat up, looking at Phoebe, which made her start singing.

    “One दिन more, Another day, another destiny, This never ending road to Calvary; These men who seem to know my crime Will surely come a सेकंड time, One दिन more...” As she sang she looked around at everyone, who looked straight back at her. When she finished singing, Rene looked at Ashton, who also started singing.

    “I did not live until today, How can I live when we are parted?”    

    “One दिन more..”

    “Tomorrow you'll be worlds away,” sang Ashton and Rene, “And yet with you, my world has started.” Emily started to sing out in the streets when Rene closed her eyes.

    “One और दिन all on my own.” She and Ashton and Rene sang back and forth.

    “Will we ever meet again?”

    “One और दिन with him not caring.”

“I was born to be with you.”

“What a life I might have known.”

"And I swear I will be true!”

“But he never saw me there...” Tess slapped Rene, making her and everyone else stop singing. The red head held her cheek, eyes watering a little.

“Ow,” she whispered. Twan gave Tess a stern look, which Tess responded with an eye roll and then getting away from Rene. She looked around at everyone, not moving a muscle. Her mind was racing, thinking, unable to comprehend what she saw. Then, Rene looked directly and Blade, making her start singing.

“Valjean, at last, We see each other plain. `M'sieur le Mayor’, you’ll wear a different chain…”

“Before आप say another word, Javert. Before आप chain me up like a slave again. Listen to me! There is something I must do. This man leaves behind a suffering child. There is none but me who can intercede, In Mercy's name, three days are all I need. Then I'll return, I pledge my word. Then I’ll return…”

“You must think me mad! I've hunted आप across the years. A man like आप can never change. A man… Such as you…” Tess went over and shook Rene, stopping all the singing.

“How is she controlling us?” Ashton asked. Phoebe shrugged her shoulders.

“Well, it is Rene,” Rocky said. Tess was still shaking Rene.

“Rene! Snap out of it!”

"I’m not Rene, I’m Cosette,” she कहा with a shaky voice.

“Rene! आप are Rene!” Tess still shook her, then slapped her. Rene looked at her for a second, confused, then her eyes lit up.

“Tess..?” Tess smiled.

    “Finally.” Twan looked at Tess.

    “How did आप do that?” he asked her.

    “You guys weren’t being aggressive enough,” she said. Tess stood up, and walked out of the apartment without saying another word. Rene looked around the room, remembering the faces that surrounded her.

    “Phoebe, Rocky, Blade, Ashton, and Twan…” she कहा as she looked at each of them, “What the hell happened?”

    “I’ll explain later,” Rocky said. Rene smiled and nodded.

    “I hope I didn’t cause much trouble.”

    “It wasn’t you,” Blade said, “it was my fucking कप केक that Ashton ate!”

    “I thought we were over that,” he said.

    “No!” Blade screamed as she tackled Ashton. Rene laughed hard as her, Phoebe, Twan, and Rocky watched to two of them fight on the floor.
