ELEVEN MUTANTS WE WANT IN ‘X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST’ 

Holy shit it's 2013! I guess in a way that's comforting considering there aren't killer robots everywhere but we still don't have mutants so it's not so surprising. I totally agree wholeheartedly with the first three picks and find the other ones to be very interesting ideas especially Polaris. Imagine having her and her two other living siblings all in the same movie.

Having Polaris, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch in the same movie would only be surpassed in the "This is the biggest familial clusterfuck possible' story arc category by the Summers/Greys. Can you imagine how many movies they would have to make just to establish who these people are and make sense as to why the hell they're there? I'm already worried for the movie that hasn't even come out yet, but if they were to do stuff like this (which I could totally see happening with the sequel to DOFP with Singer wanting to bring Marsden back), I might just have a heart attack.

Imagine introuducing Madelyne alone! Because first you have to establish that she's a nice and likable and same person and then make Scott enough of a dick to make her snap. Doing that in one movie would just make her look like the worse person ever. Then you have Rachel's story where you have to establish her relationship with her real parents, establish her loneliness with our universe's Scott and Jean, have the build up to Scott and Jean rejecting her, and then give them enough time to do a believable 180. That also wouldn't work too well in one movie because the pacing would be too fast and awkward. And again with Nate he has to go through all the phases of establishing his own presence, everyone finding out who his parents are, him rejecting them, and then finally coming to care for them as they are. And just that first part should be most if not all of a movie.

Oh geez, what would they name that series? It wouldn't have the X-men name on it, so I wonder if they would just copy the names of the comic titles to try and bring the comic geeks like us in to a movie that will make us cry blood from wanting to die so bad after watching that crap.

Maybe it would work better as a spin off TV series. They could call it something cheesy like "Summers Days."

As long as they don't call is "Shades of Grey" or "I Know What You Did With Summers" or something. Oh God, now I'm going to be thinking of Grey/Summers television show titles all night. This cannot end well.

Fifty Shades of Summers/Grey? Now that'd pull in an audience.

I just don't know if it's exactly the audience the marketing team was expecting, sort of like with My Little Pony : Friendship is Magic (marketed to kids but loved by adults) or the Ghostbusters film (meant for adults but loved by kids). I think you'd get a hell of a lot of creepos with that one, and not many actual *cough* fans.

But we might get an interesting look into Scott and Jean's sex life and isn't that worth all the creepers? *insert sarcasm symbol here* Though honestly if someone did make this it would look like they were trying to make an X Men soap opera. Only the true fans would know that that's exactly what it's like in the source material.

Nah, the source material is way worse. Soap operas have evil twins and such, but the source material gives a person an evil clone from the offspring of their own personal clone...why the hell doesn't Cyke have a clone yet? His wife and his son both do! Maybe it would make him feel better about himself so he wouldn't have had to go all 'AHHHH I'm Dark Phoenix now and finally understand what my dead wife was feeling even though I haven't given a shit about her in almost twenty real life years.'

Oh and the clone's name could be like Bytter or some nonsense! Because all evil Summers/Grey clones must replace the i's in their names with y's. And he could stalk Emma and kidnap her (I'd say Jean but she's not around at the moment). And then him and Emma could have a kid that he would then try to sacrafice to demons! It's brilliant!

And, of course, the visor headpiece would have to get even more ridiculous or some form of Cyclops' normal attire would have to look either like a horrid pornographic costume or a ridiculously oversize Halloween mask. Bonus points for unnecessary monologues and scenery destruction!

And he'll constantly complain about how his childhood was so much worse than Scott's and how we should all feel sorry for him. I'm trying t come up with something more clever and failing.

And when the writers bring Jean back from the dead, the real Scott will die and this new clone, Bytter (love the name. xD), will conveniently find a way to Jean and lure her in, of course she will have "horridly heartbreaking" flashbacks of Scotty during this time, and trying to kill her only resulting in the resurrection of either Maddie or Scott, maybe even both, which may or may not result in a hugely overblown company wide crossover event.

And maybe that company wide crossover can end up with the record being set straight on the Phoenix Force and the Summers/Greys proving that it all depends on the host and how they handle it. The whole thing can end with either Jean or Rachel (or both) out crime fighting all the Avengers with the help of the Phoenix Force. Now that would be a good way for Marvel to start apologizing to the X fans.
