Jean sat against the window in her bedroom at the Institute, listening to the quiet pitter-patter of raindrops against the glass. It calmed some of her dark mood, but not much. She’d always loved the rain, but that day, she couldn't help her thoughts from traveling to the one thing she swore never to think about again.
