My relitive has a problem but won't go to the doctors, should I make her?

A relitive of mine has been going to बिस्तर and getting up with the whole of their right side going numb. Thats face, hand and leg. They are on high blood pressure and have a trapped nerve in their hand (which they only got seen once). When I tell them to see the doctor, they shrug it off and say it's the side effects of their medication. But I'm worried, is it a stoke?
