She won’t be wearing roller skates, but Whoopi Goldberg, has signed on for the role of Calliope in the Broadway musical “Xanadu,” the show’s producers announced on Monday.

Ms. Goldberg, the actress and comedian who won a Tony Award as a producer of “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” will शामिल होइए the cast for a six-week run beginning on July 29.
