snowy woke up in her den, curled around her pups. They were two weeks old now. She licked them and they woke up. Snowy lived in a cave with vines hanging over the entrance. She had covered the floor with any moss, leaves, and घास she could find, and dug for खाना in the snow, या ate the खाना she had saved from the fall. Snowy let her pups climb over her as she ate some mouse. She left the rest for Cloud, (girl) and Night, Star, and Ice, (boys) to eat. Snowy went out of the cave, and up onto the top. As she was gazing out into the swirling snow, the rock beneath her hind paws shifted ' oh no ' she thought. Snowy raced back into the cave, and snuffled around for a large leaf. She filled the leaf with prey and herbs. Then, she put it द्वारा the entrance. She went to her pups. "We're leaving" Snowy कहा "Why mama?" बादल asked. "It's dangerous here" Snowy replied. "Where will we go?" Asked Star. "We will find another place" snowy answered. She let her pups climb up onto her back, and she picked up the leaf bundle in her teeth, and padded out of the cave. As she walked away, Snowy heard crumbling behind her. She stopped and turned around. The cave was in ruins. Snowy glanced at her pups, and saw that Night wasn't there. She set her pups in the bundle, and put it in the snow. Snowy ran back to the ruins to sniff around for Night. She was freezing cold, but she didn't care. She would look for Night no matter what it took........
