A flash of silver caught the white tabby tom's eye. A smirk spread across his face and he crouched down among the reeds, flattening himself to the earth as if he were a LightningClan cat hunting a squirrel.
Moonbreeze inched towards the स्रोत of the silver, his eyes narrowing as he made out the blurry shape of a cat.
The cat had no idea that something was stalking him until it was too late. With a shriek Moonbreeze flung himself up from the reeds, slamming into the tom. The two rolled for a few heartbeats before Moonbreeze landed on top, placing a paw on his defeated opponent's chest.
"Moonbreeze! What in the name of StarClan has gotten into you!" Sleekpelt hissed at him and threw him off, getting up and shaking his sleek pelt out.
"Oh come on, Sleekpelt. Just tryin' to have a little fun on this boring border patrol." Moonbreeze nudged his clanmate's shoulder affectionately, "Besides, it's not like there are any LightningClan बिल्ली out at this hour. They're probably all just lying in camp, stuffing themselves with stolen prey and arguing over who should go patrol."
"First of all, LightningClan have already been here genius. सेकंड of all, it's us two versus, what? Five LightningClan cats? And third, LightningClan aren't lazy. They are strong, powerful, and persistent to win. Don't get into a fight with one. As a matter of fact, don't get into a fight with any clan. We don't need the attention." Sleekpelt growled, turning away and trod ding heavily through the reed beds.
Moonbreeze flattened his ears and glanced across the border before scrambling after his clanmate.
A few heartbeats later they reached the river which the StormClan बिल्ली fished from. The cool, crystal-clear water gently lapped the shores, and Moonbreeze scented the air, sighing as the familiar scent of water and मछली met his nose.
"The sky's getting awfully dark." Sleekpelt commented, his silver head turned up to gaze thoughtfully at the sky.

Giving a brief nod, Sleekpelt dashed towards the direction of camp, hurtling through the reed beds.
Moonbreeze turned and snarled at the Two-Legs, "Get out of here आप stupid, nasty Two-Legs! We don't want आप here!"
The Two-Legs obviously didn't understand him, as the first one reached out to grab Moonbreeze.
He hissed and leaped out of reach, his claws unsheathing. The Two-Leg tried again, and Moonbreeze lashed out, catching the Two-Leg's hand with his claws. The Two-Leg made an angry, rumbling noise and took out a long, metal stick. It aimed, and before Moonbreeze could react a sharp pain entered his side. He shrieked and floundered in the water, his eyes becoming heavy as sleep tried to take over. The tom struggled for a few और heartbeats before flopping over and lying still, his breathing slowing. His world went dark.
