What are your thoughts on the console wars?

I now basically find the whole console wars to be pretty ridiculous and silly as well as childish. Also they are just that: GAME CONSOLES. Nothing more, nothing less. No need for these console fanboys (and fangirls) to get SO worked up over them as well as NEED to relax. And personally I buy video games JUST FOR the game consoles and NOT vice-versa/NOT the other way around. NOT for the game consoles themselves.

Plus I care about the VIDEO GAMES and not the GAME CONSOLES. At the same time I really don't care what consoles they are as I happen to care what games I wanna get and that what matters. That is what most important too

Although when it just becomes hateful arguments between consoles....then it's just petty. We're all gamers at the end of the day. Why fight each other?
