It got a 4.5/5 stars on New York times; a book called, "Peeps" द्वारा Scott Westerfeld is about people who become vampire like, cept they aren't really vampires, they are hosts for a psychological parasite that makes them fest on blood and extremely sexual. It makes them always really strong, fast, have better senses, and savage. The parasite spreads द्वारा these things:
1) A Peep bites you
2) A Peep kisses you, या makes love...*cough*
3) If a Peep breaths close to ur face
See, it spreads द्वारा blood, sweat, and semen which is transfered द्वारा action of events. Rats are attracted to these Peeps and are "holders" of the parasite. The side affects for the Peeps is that anything they remember या liked, the parasite switches the brain to dislike them (aka despise it) which explains why Peeps hated the cross, cause they were religious. They also प्यार eating alot of meat, या people mainly...some however are lucky to become carries, which have the good side affects and not the bad, yet suffer lust and hunger.
I'm just giving u some brief explanation, it's an outstanding book and especially interesting, full of twists and true facts about other parasites. It even have a very unusual ending that you'll remember.
