And also, they can be killed with wooden stake and they fear holy objects like the Holy Cross, garlic फूल etc. Stephanie Meyer moulded her version of वैंपायर so that they can go about easily instead of just coming out at night and also to make them seem indestructable. Meyer wanted to make her वैंपायर absolutely flawless, so she brought it up that her version of वैंपायर sparkle.

For the same reason other वैंपायर do whatever they do in the sun. That's just how they were created.

There really is no "correct" way for a vampire to react to sunlight. It's no big deal, people just प्यार complaining.

Because its Smeyer's sexual कल्पना and sparkling is apparently 'hot'. And it's based on a dream.
