Chapter Ten:
Lexy’s P.O.V:
‘Put your sneakers on…we’re gonna be dancin’ all night long…basically what we gonna do is dance…’
A- Awesome…ware r u goin’ now?
L- A diff blockbuster…: p
A- So I’ll cya soon?!?
L- Yes, Ali. Can’t wait…I’m so tired.
A- Didn’t u take a nap in the car?
L- Yeah, I had a nightmare. *shudder*
A- Aww, I’m sorry baby. Ok. Cya soon…luv u.
L- KK, TTYL, Auntie. I luv u 2.
~They get home~
“Here’s your popcorn, Renny.” I handed her the popcorn. “Jacob’s.” I handed him the buttery popcorn. “Lola L. Lake!” Renesmee screeched and held it up. I laughed and got out the rest of the movies. The girls all went upstairs with our फिल्में and some फिल्में we already had. Like: Bride Wars, the Bounty Hunter, Degrassi Season 9, Degrassi Season 4, Sexy ‘till Seven, Mall Cop, etc.
Mom popped in Lola L. Lake and started the previews. I plopped down with my cell phone and stood back up. Mom looked back over at me confused.
‘Need to change.’ I कहा in my mind.
‘Oh, ok…Can we stay?’
‘I don’t care…I just need to change and go to the toilet’ I said; feeling embarrassed I actually कहा ‘toilet’.
‘KK, we’ll pause it, baby girl.’ She replied.
I stalked over to my huge closet and clicked the button that opened the English French doors. I hit the ‘Turn Left’ button-it led toward my comfy PJ section. I picked out my Brisk Sweet चाय PJ set. I went into the bathroom. I felt pretty good as I put on the PJs. I went to the bathroom and turned on the water. The ice cold water felt good on my skin as I pumped some soap out of the pump. Then it started.
I felt sick for the first time in about 3 weeks. I leaned down into the sink and let it come out. I shut my eyes as I rinsed out the sink basin and finally opened them when I was sure it was clear.
I went out of my coral purple bathroom and into my bedroom. Mom was texting, Rosalie was playing with my red yo-yo, Alice was लेखन in my ‘visitor’s’ notebook (I’ll explain later…promise), and Renesmee was eating पॉपकॉर्न and पढ़ना her book; ‘Roses for Kisses’.
About the visitor’s notebook: Since we all hung out in my room a lot we decided to create a diary-for the guys (green)- for the girls (purple). We wrote what we were doing and other fun stuff. Mom looked up from texting and smiled, “You look cute, Lexy.” I smiled and plopped down on my fuzzy purple/blue beanbag. I turned off my iphone. “GOODBYE, LEXY!” it said. I laughed and set it on the floor. I got my XXXXL पॉपकॉर्न and dug in.
About 5 मिनटों later, I decided it didn’t have enough मक्खन so I asked Mom to pause the movie. I got up and scrambled over to my mini fridge. I got out 2 sticks of मक्खन and popped them in a green plastic bowl. I stuck them into the microwave (that’s baby blue!) and set it for 30 सेकंड्स on Medium High. I turned around. Mom, Ali, and Rose were staring at me. Renesmee looked up from her पॉपकॉर्न bag onto the screen. “Woo…I thought it was one of those ‘Awkward-Silence-Scenes’!”
