Hi! I read New Moon and when Bella puts her mortality to a vote. I really didn't like that she was going to wait till after graduaton to become a vampire. So I picked up after everyone says yes, and she goes ahead and gets turned into a vampire. I have writen 3 chapters so far, i'm starting chapter 4. 1. A New Life

Carlisle nodded toward me. "The floor is yours." I swallowed. Their gazing eyes made me nervous. Edward took my hand under the table. I peeked at him, but he was watching the others, his face suddenly fierce.
"Well," I paused. "I'm hoping Alice has already told आप everything that happened in Volterra?" "Everything," Alice assured me. I threw her a meaningful look. "And everything on the way?" "That, too," she nodded.
"Good," I sighed with relief. "Then we're all on the same page."
They waited patiently while I tried to order my thoughts.
"So, I have a problem," I began. "Alice promised the Volturi that I would become one of you. They're going to send someone to check, and I'm sure that's a bad thing-something to avoid.
"And so now, this involves आप all. I'm sorry about that." I looked at each of their beautiful faces, saving the most beautiful for last. Edward's mouth was turned down into a grimace. "But if आप don't want me, then I'm not going to force myself on you, whether Alice is willing या not."
Esme opened her mouth to speak, but I held up one finger to stop her.
"Please, let me finish. आप all know what I want. And I'm sure आप know what Edward thinks, too. I think the only fair way to decide is for everyone to have a vote. If आप decide आप don't want me, then... I guess I'll go to Italy alone.
I can't have them coming here." My forehead creased as I considered that.
There was a faint rumble of a growl in Edward's chest. I ignored him.
"Taking into account, then, that i won't put any of आप in danger either way, I want आप to vote yes या no on the issue of me becoming a vampire."
I half-smiled on the last word, and guestured toward Carlisle to begin.
"Just a minute," Edward interrupted.
I glared at him through narrowed eyes. He raised his eyebrows at me, squeezing my hand.
"I have something to add before we vote."
I sighed.
"About the danger Bella's referring to," he continued.
"I don't think we need to be overly anxious."
His expression became और animated. He put his free hand on the shining तालिका, टेबल and leaned forward.
"You see," he explained, looking around the तालिका, टेबल while he spoke, "there was और than one reason why I didn't want to shake Aro's hand there at the end. There's something they didn't think of, and I didn't want to clue them in." He grinned.
"Which was?" Alice prodded. I was sure my expression was just as skeptical as hers.
"The Volturi are overconfident, and with good reason. When they decide to find someone, it's not really a problem. Do आप remember Demetri?" He glanced down at me.
I shuddered. He took that as a yes.
"He finds people - that's his talent, why they keep him. "Now the whole time we were with any of them, I was picking their brians for anything that might save us, getting as much information as possible. So I saw how Demetri's talent works. He's a tracker-a tracker a thousand times और gifted than James was. His ability is loosely related to what I do, या what Aro does. He catches the...flavor? I don't know how to describe it...the tenor...of someone's mind, and then he follows that. It works over immense distances.
"But after Aro's little experiments, well..." Edward shrugged.
"You think he won't be able to find me," I कहा flatly. He was smug. "I'm sure of it. He relies totally on that other sense. When it doesn't work with you, they'll all be blind."
"And how does that solve anything?"
"Quite obviously, Alice will be able to tell when they're planning a visit, and I'll hide you. They'll be helpless," he कहा with fierce enjoyment. "It will be like looking for a piece of straw in a haystack!" He and Emmett exchanged a smirk.
This made no sense. "But they can find you," I reminded him.
"And I can take care of my self."
Emmett laughed, and reached across the तालिका, टेबल toward his brother, extending a fist.
"Excellent plan, my brother," he कहा with enthusiasm.

"No," Rosalie hissed.
"Absolutely," I agreed.
"Nice." Jasper's voice was appreciative.
"Idiots," Alice muttered
Esme just glared at Edward.
I straightened up in my chair, focusing. This was my meeting.
"All right then. Edward has offered an alternative for आप to consider," I कहा coolly. "Let's vote."
I looked toward Edward this time; it would be better to get his opinion out of the way. "Do आप want me to शामिल होइए your family?"
His eyes were hard and as black as flint. "Not that way. You're staying human."
I nodded once keeping my face very businesslike, and then moved on.
"Alice?"
"Yes."
"Jasper?"
"Yes," he said, voice grave. I was a little surprised-I hadn't been at all sure of his vote-but I suppressed my reaction and moved on.
"Rosalie?"
She hesitated, biting down on her full bottom lip. "No."
I kept my face blank and turned my head slightly to हटाइए on, but she held up both her hands, palms forward.
"Let me explain," she pleaded. "I don't mean that I have any aversion to आप as a sister, It's just that...this is not the life I would have chosen for myself. I wish there had been someone there to vote no for me."
I nodded slowly, and then turned to Emmett.
"Hell, yes!" He grinned. "We can find some other way to pick a fight with this Demetri."
I was still grimacing at that when I looked at Esme.
"Yes, of course, Bella. I already think of आप as part of my family."
"Thank you, Esme," I murmured as I turned toward Carlisle.
I was suddenly nervous, wishing I had asked for his vote first. I was sure that this was the vote that mattered most, the vote that counted और than any majority.
Carlisle wasn't looking at me.
"Edward," he कहा
"No," Edward growled. His jaw was strained tight, his lips curled back from his teeth.
"It's the only way that makes sense," Carlisle insisted.
"You've chosen not to live without her, and that doesn't leave me a choice."
Edward dropped my hand, shoving away from the table. He stalked out of the room, snarling under his breath
"I guesss आप know my vote." Carlisle sighed.
I was still staring after Edward. "Thanks," I mumbled.
An earsplitting crash echoed from the other room. I flinched and spoke quickly.
"That's all I needed. Thank you. For wanting to keep me. I feel exactly the same way about all of you, too."
My voice was jagged with emotion द्वारा the end.
Esme was at my side in a flash, her cold arms around me.
"Dearest bella." she breathed.
I hugged her back. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Rosalie looking down at the table, and I realized that my words could be construed two ways.
"Well Alice," I कहा when Esme released me. "Where do आप want to do this?"
Alice stared at me, her eyes widening with terror.
"No! No! NO!" Edward roared, charging back into the room. He was in my face before I had time to blink, bending over me, his expression twisted in rage. "Are आप insane?" he shouted. "Have आप utterly लॉस्ट your mind?
"I cringed away, my hands over my ears.
"Um bella," Alice interjected in an anxious voice. "I don't think I'm ready for that. I'll need to prepare...."
"You promised," I reminded her, glaring under Edward's arm.
"I know, but...Seriously, Bella! I don't know how not to kill you."
"You can do it," I encouraged. "I trust you."
Edward snarled in fury.
Alice shook her head quickly, looking panicked.
"Carlisle?" I turned to look at him.
Edward grabbed me face in his hand, forcing me to look at him. His other hand was out palm toward Carlisle.
Carlisle ignored that. "I'm able to do it," he answered my question. I wished I could see his expression. "You would be in no danger of me loosing control."
"Sounds good." I hoped he could understand; it was hard to talk clearly the way Edward held my jaw.
"Hold on," Edward कहा through gritted teeth. "I think I should at least have a saying of where it should be done."
"Ok." Carlisle कहा "Where do आप want me to do it?"
"In my room." Edward कहा sadly. But I could still hear the anger in his voice.
Edward held my hand and lead me to his room. It was night and darkness covered his room, but I could still see everything clearly as if it were day. Carlisle moved the diaries off of Edward's बिस्तर and told me to lay down, and I did as I were told. Edward thoughtfully stroked my cheek.
"Let's begin. Are आप ready, Bella? And your sure this is what आप want?" Carlisle कहा curiously.
I nodded my head "Yes," I said.
He told me to turn my head to face Edward. Then he slowly leaned in. "Wait, Carlisle," I told him before he could touch my neck.
I turned to Edward, my face thoughtful. "Edward, will आप please do it?"
He hesitated for a सेकंड and कहा "Yes." That made me और calm.
Edward slowly leaned in to bite, it all happened so fast. The pain, the jolt of venom and also the coldness.
It got worse and worse I could feel the venom spreading throughout my body. It was slow and painful, but my wish had been fufilled. Edward struggled to stop, my neck was cold, my whole body was getting colder. My viens were burning as the venom kept spreading Carlisle whispered something to Edward. In a flash Edward was holding Carlisle's black medicine bag. I felt like I was dying my breathing slowed and my body was burning, and my दिल felt like it was going to burst out of my chest. I could feel that I was having seizures. The venom was spreading fast. My veins were burning like someone had set them on fire. Carlisle stepped up to me with his stethescope, and put it to my chest.
"Her breathing has almost stopped, it will happen soon." Carlisle कहा calmly.
"I think she needs आप over here Edward." he कहा smoothly.
Edward stepped up to me, I was still jolting uncontrolably. He gently kissed my forehead.I slowly closed my eyes as my दिल stopped, and let the venom spread throughout my body.









I awoke days later confused and disoriented. The first person I saw was Edward standing द्वारा my side. I sat up imedietly, Edward called for Carlisle, who appeared in a second.
"Bella, how do आप feel?" Carlisle कहा alarmed but yet somehow still calm. Then I noticed the others standing behind him.
"Yea I feel.....great." I कहा trying to sound calm. I was very excited. I had awaited this दिन for months, just knowing one दिन it would come.
"You can stand up if आप feel up to it. You've been asleep for three days now, so आप might feel a little weak, but I severly doubt that."
I slowly stood up, I noticed that I was a couple inches taller. Edward was at my side in a flash, ready to catch me should I fall. I felt the urge to just run as fast as I could back to Charlie but I knew that was impossible now. Because now I was........a vampire.
"We need to find out your talent now don't we." Carlisle said.
"Woo-hoo!" Emmett's voice boomed through the room loudly.
"Bella, you're talent will दिखाना up soon enough. Don't be in a hurry to find it. It will find you." Edward कहा thoughtfuly
"Ok." I said.
"You're probaly hungry, Emmett, go find Bella something to eat." Carlisle said.
Emmett jogged off into the woods.
I could tell Carlisle had talked to Edward while I was changing because he looked और happy than angry. That made me feel less guilty about my choice.
Edward met me in the doorway to the kitchen.
"Wanna race?" He asked, smiling.
"Sure," I कहा smiling.
"Ready,set,go!" Carlisle counted us off.
I dashed through the woods, Edward द्वारा my side. I could see that Carlisle had come along too, running alongside me making sure I was ok. I speeded ahead further in to the woods, I could now see the peek of the mountain. I beat both of them there, Edward was next, then came Carlisle.
"Your taking this vampire thing better than I'd expected." Edward कहा in shock.
"Man, your fast! Emmett कहा jogging up beside me with a dead rabbit in his hand.
"I could barely catch up to you! I saw that आप and Edward were running and I knew that he had challenged आप to a race so I just ran up here with you. Here is your food, I thought आप might want to start out small so I got a rabbit."
Emmett was just like the big brother I never had, and now he was my brother, in a way.

After I ate we went back to the house. Esme talked to me for awhile and कहा that Edward and Carlisle never left my side during the change when I was unconsious. While Esme talked I kept my eye on Edward. Just knowing that I could now be with Edward forever made me so happy. Edward looked at me and smiled, my प्रिय crooked smile.
I thought of Charlie and Renee, but I couldn't turn back now I could never see them again, up close at least, I would have to watch from a distance because now I wasn't human. I was fast, dangerous, and I knew I shouldn't go near Charlie या Renee because if I were to harm them in any way accidentally, mently या physicly, I would never forgive myself. I loved them almost as much as I loved Edward. But I couldn't ever go back the way I was before I met Edward from then on everything changed, my life, my thoughts, and me myself.
Edward came to my side and put his arm around my waist. As soon as I touched him, I could see something I never saw before, I saw every thought that had ever passed through his mind and I could hear what he was thinking.
Apparently they all knew something was wrong. In a flash Carlisle was at my side.
"What is it Bella? Are आप ok?" Carlisle asked curiously.
"I think I know what my talent is." I said, my face blank.
"What is it?" Alice asked cheerfully.
"As soon as Edward touched me I saw everything, what he was thinking now and I saw his past thoughts."
"Amazing," Jasper कहा thoughtfully
"Sweet!" Emmett said.
"Interesting." Carlisle कहा interested.
"Good for you." Rosalie said.
"Yay!" Alice कहा cheerfully.
"Like I said." Edward said, his voice calm and smooth.
"Here see if आप can see mine. Edward let go of her for a second." Carlisle कहा taking my hand.
I sifted through his thoughts, when we were voting he was worrying about Edward.
"Amazing." he said
"This is a good thing right?" I कहा curious.
"Yes Bella, this is a very good thing!" Esme कहा happily.
"I've always wanted to know what Edward thinks." I कहा looking at Edward playfully
All of a sudden Alice had a vision.
"The Volturi are coming, they'll be here tonight." Alice कहा her face blank, caught up in her vision.
I was happy I was already a vampire. I knew for sure that if Edward hadn't changed me, the Volturi would.


That night, the doorbell rang, Esme opened the door, and in the doorway stood Aro, Marcus, Caius, Demetri, and Jane. They all showed up and that shocked me. Esme invited them in and immedietly they asked about me, Esme showed them. When they saw my melted-gold eyes, paper white skin, and fangs, they looked satisfied. They asked Esme about my talent.
"When someone touches her, she can read their past, and present thoughts." she said, looking at the others as they appeared behind me.
Marcus appeared at my side, he moved his hand to hold my hand and I allowed him to.
I searched his brain, curious of what he might be thinking about.
"Incredible." he said, his voice in a daze.
"I wonder....." He कहा thoughtfuly as he turned toward Jane guesturing to me.
Jane stepped up and Marcus took a step back.
Jane stared at me with her piercing eyes. For the सेकंड time in my life, I stared back waiting for the pain, ready to take whatever they threw at me, but nothing happened. Jane looked shocked, irritated, as if she wanted to stomp out of the room and back to Voltera.
"Amazing." Aro aplauded.
Esme smiled at me, I could tell that she was proud and so was everyone else. Edward stepped up beside me and put his arm around my waist and kissed the चोटी, शीर्ष of my head lightly.
"We will be on our way now." Caius said.
Demetri held out his hand for Edward to shake but he kept his hands to himself. Demetri stepped back. Edward let out a low growl between his teeth.
"Goodbye, Bella." Aro said, and as soon as he कहा it they were gone.
"I'm very surprised Bella," Carlisle said.
"I wouldn't have thought that आप would still be imune to the same things आप were imune to when आप were human."Carlisle said, intrigued.
"Edward, have आप had any luck पढ़ना Bella's thoughts?"
"No," Edward said.
"That means आप are still imune to some talents." Carlisle कहा thoughtfully.
"Is that normal? Thats a good thing right?" I asked curiously.
"Yes thats completely normal, and yes this is a very good thing." Alice कहा excited.
I thought about Charlie.
"Can I go see Charlie?" I asked.
"Well not up close but from a distance." Edward said.
"I'll take आप if आप like." Edward कहा guesturing towards the door.
"Ok." I कहा as I walked towards the door.
"I'll beat आप there," I कहा with a smile.
"I'll let आप win." Edward said, and smiled my प्रिय crooked smile.
We both sped head on into the woods towards Charlie's house. I saw something in my head and, I stopped, he did too.
"What's wrong Bella?" He कहा gently, with some alarm in his voice.
"I saw something, like a vision, it was me and Charlie standing side द्वारा side, he had melted सोना eyes, and his skin was white like mine. What could that mean?"
"That's not good Bella, we need to tell the others quickly, come on."He कहा guesturing back towards the house.
"Ok." I said.
We both ran back to the house.
When we got back they were all in the living room waiting for us.
"Bella had a vision, about Charlie becoming one of us." Edward कहा between his teeth.
"But she already found her talent. How could she have two?" Alice कहा her head cocked to the side.
"That's not the matter." Esme कहा with concern.
"He was standing here in this living room, but his eyes were melted-gold like mine and his skin was paper white." I कहा trying to sound calm. But I couldn't keep the franticness out of my voice, the thought of Charlie becoming a vampire..... I tried to push the thought from my mind.
"It's ok Bella, your vision is probaly just subjective, if the path the person is on changes, then the vision will change. Don't worry, that vision becoming real has a one in a million chance." Alice said, trying to calm me down.
"But he doesn't even know that we're vampires." Jasper said, curious.
"What if he does." Rosalie said.
"I'm sure he doesn't, theres no way he could know." Emmett कहा to Rosalie.
"I haven't told anyone," I कहा trustfuly
"We know आप haven't, Bella. We know आप wouldn't ever tell." Esme said
"It's ok Bella. I 'm sure it's just subjective like Alice said. There's nothing to worry about."Edward कहा thoughtfully
I nodded.
When I woke up, from the change, I knew my life had changed, I was no longer human, I was a monster, a vampire. Nothing will go back to the way it was. I will never fall asleep, I might never be able to see Jacob again, या Renee. But I have my mind set on one thing, I will see Charlie one last time, even if I don't get to see him up close, I will see Charlie, I don't care if I have to go to see him secretly, I will see him.
"I'm gonna go up to Edward's room to take all of this in." I कहा calmly.
Edward started to follow.
"Alone please, I just need to think about some stuff." I कहा solemly.
Edward nodded.
I walked up to Edward's room, when I got there, I sat on the couch. I had alot to think about, first, I was a vampire now and my life has changed paths for good, and bad. Second, my vision, what does it mean, does it mean that soon my dad might become a monster? I chose that path for myself because I wanted to be with Edward forever. Did I hurt Charlie द्वारा doing that? Did I make a wrong turn in my life? and third, Renee and Jacob. What would they do if they saw me now?Would they run towards me to hug me, या would they run away in terror at what I'd become?
and fourth, where will my life take me? I'm going to live forever now, with Edward and his family, so what will I do everyday for 365 days a year? I guess I'll find out sooner या later. I still don't know if I made the right choice, in a way, I think it's a bad choice, but like Carlisle said, I've chosen not to live my life without Edward. I will be with Edward everyday, for many years to come. I don't think I'll ever regret this choice.
I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." I कहा politely.
"Bella," Edward said, a little box in his hand.
"You're a vampire now and I've been lonley now for और than ninety years, and we are going to live our lives together for many years." Edward said, looking at me thoughtfully.
"Do आप really प्यार me?" He asked solemly.
"Yes Edward, I will always प्यार you, even if आप ever stop loving me, I will still प्यार you." I कहा staring into his golden eyes.
"Good, I won't ever stop loving आप Bella, आप are the center of my life, I revolve around you. I can't take being alone anymore." He कहा getting down on one knee and opening the box to reveal a silver ring cratering a beautiful sparkling red diamond.
"Bella, will आप marry me?"
