That night I had the strangest dream. There was a भेड़िया howling in the back yard near the forest. I followed the sound despite the fact I was terrified. I looked at the large, massive भेड़िया up and down. I felt calm and at peace with it so close. It was almost all white. On Its face it had black around its eyes and the tip of its ears. His eyes were what struck me the most. They were deep दूध चॉकलेट brown eyes. It was like they were burning a hole through my eyes and seeing into my soul. If that was possible. Then It let out terrifying gut wrenching howl.


I woke up screaming with my alarm clock. No one noticed. I turned off my alarm clock and jumped out of bed. I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I pulled a brush through my long laired hair and tied it back into a ponytail. My bangs hung just above my eyes. They had a slight wave to them. At least now if it started to rain I wouldn’t have to worry about my hair. I looked through my closet and dresser for something to wear. I put on a pair of dark denim skinny jeans with a white tank चोटी, शीर्ष and put my dark blue ब्लाउज on over it. I went down stairs and put on my brown leather boots. I grabbed a bowl of cereal and was eating when Brenda came down stairs.
“Hey! Have आप seen my black high heel boots?”Brenda asked me while grabbing a granola bar.
“Hey. Yea they are in…the closet I think.” I always knew where everything my sister needed was.”And your backpack and पर्स are in the car with my stuff and the car is heating up.” I quickly added before she could ask any और questions.

“Thanks.” Brenda was shocked.
“No problem.” I shrugged nonchalantly.
“Did आप hear the भेड़िया last night? Ugh…” So, it wasn’t a dream.
“They were so creepy…”
she continued to talk about them and how she didn’t get any sleep. I just shrugged and nodded my head.
My first two classes were boring. There were many whispers. I didn’t get it why wouldn’t they talk to me. It made me mad. Finally lunch came. Brenda found me in the hall. Great! I sarcastically thought.
Now I’ll be in the center of attention. I rolled my eyes as she blabbed about a really cute guy. I forget his name. She कहा I have to sit with them at lunch. Don’t get me wrong I प्यार my sister but, she could be over the चोटी, शीर्ष sometimes. We got into the lunch room it was packed with students. Brenda and I got our lunches and a guy waved Brenda over to his table. This must be the person she has been talking about. He was good looking. He was so tall but, he was smaller than the other boy. They both had black hair and brown eyes. They were so tan even with the weather. I did my research on this place. It was almost always cloudy even in the summer. They could have passed as being in their 20’s. He was so lit up with joy it looked he was going to burst. I noticed my sister too!
“Hey Seth!” my sister कहा in calm collected voice. I was shocked again when she spoke so even.
She was so happy was I missing something. I was so confused there was major flirting. As we sat down every one introduced themselves.
“I’m Seth.” He कहा in a husky voice.
“I’m Jacob and this is Leah.” he nodded to a girl अगला to his girlfriend I assumed because he had his arm around her. The girl he nodded to glared. Remind me not to get on her bad side.
“I’m Neisse.” The girl अगला to Jacob कहा in a high voice. She was beautiful her hair came down in perfect curls down to her waist. Her eyes were a चॉकलेट brown.
“I’m Ethan and this is my sister Amber.” His voice hit me so hard. It was deep and husky. His hair was dark brown. His skin was something out of this world. It was a mix between tan and a creamy pale. He was so beautiful या handsome whatever आप want to call him. I could hardly bring myself to pull away from his दूध चॉकलेट eyes that looked like Neisse’s eyes only और defined to look at his sister. She was the same way only lighter. She was small like me and I understood why her parents named her amber. Her hair was a dark amber color with like honey amber highlights. She was just as beautiful.
“I’m um…a…Alana.” Jeez way to go. I kicked myself for taking so long and almost forgetting my name.
“Hello.” Amber कहा cheerfully and in a warm voice.
“It is so nice to meat you!”She bounded over to me and grabbed my hand.
She pulled me over to where she had been sitting अगला to her brother and sat me down. She sat down on the other side of me. I sat there trying to be invisible. Just to observe my sister but, it wasn’t working. Ethan and Amber kept me preoccupied with सवालों about where I was from. Who my father is? Why our last name was different from his? I was tired from all the सवालों they had for me. When lunch was over I felt as though I had told these strangers my life story.
Ethan leaned into me and to ask another सवाल in a smooth deep voice. It was almost like velvet.

He was also close enough for me to smell him. It was intoxicating. The woodsy yet sweet smell of him made it almost impossible for me to think. I turned my head and stopped looking in his eyes to clear my head. I thought for about five seconds. Then I replied.
“Biology… and it’s ok with me if आप want दिखाना me where it is.” I didn’t have to think about the last part.
I already knew I wanted to follow him anywhere. It was strange I had never felt like this around a guy before. He seemed hesitant at first and it changed immediately. His voice was a little rougher and deeper. “Follow me.” My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. I followed him though.
When we got to the class room Ethan went straight to his seat. I walked up to the female teacher Miss. Allan. She didn’t look up from her डेस्क she just spoke.
“Just go ahead and sit अगला to Mr. Black.”
I walked to the only open seat. In-between the window and chair was Ethan Black.
“Ok class today we will be doing a blood test. So, put your पुस्तकें away.” I began to feel dizzy. Andrew had already done this so I would know my blood type. I quickly shot my hand up to interrupt her.
“Miss. Allan I already know my blood type. May I please be excused?” I asked in a weak trembling voice.
“Yes आप may be excused.” I was relieved. I darted for the door but, I tripped over my own feet and fell.
“Can someone go with Miss. Patterson?”
Ethan’s voice rang out throughout the class room. “I know my blood type as well. I can go with her.” He was द्वारा my side smiling. He picked me up carrying me out of the room like it was nothing. I heard some of the girls sigh as we left the room.
“You know आप can put me down now.” I tried to sound polite but, any way I put it in my head sounded bad.
“I don’t think so.” He chuckled. It sounded like संगीत to my ears but, the truth is I was still feeling lightheaded and his voice wasn’t helping with that. Neither was how close his face was to mine. I could feel his hot sweet breath against my face sending the warmth throughout my body. It was like I didn’t need a coat. Which was probably a good thing because; I left my कोट in my locker.
This was just too embarrassing. My first दिन and I fall down in front of everyone. At least I didn’t hurt myself. Come to think of it I never have hurt myself falling down.
“Where are आप going?” I asked confused as to why we were in the parking lot. I knew my way around the school well enough to know that the nurses’ office wasn’t this way.
“I’m taking आप home.” He कहा it as though it wasn’t a big deal.
“No your not.” I कहा stubbornly.
“Yes I am. No offence but I don’t think आप would last in gym class.”
He did have point there.
“Besides, your sister is in class and I don’t think she will have a problem with taking Seth to our home.”
Great now it’s 3 to 0. Me being the 0. I didn’t say anything. I kept my mouth shut he knew he won. I could tell द्वारा the smirk on his handsome face which proved it. We reached his car he was still carrying me.
“You can put me down now.” I कहा for the सेकंड time today.
“And risk आप running away. Ha!” He कहा playfully yet, teasing voice.
I secretly liked having his face inches from mine. He stuck me in the passenger सीट in his jeep Cherokee and closed the door. He हटाइए to the backseat and stuck our backpacks in the back. He got to the driver’s side so quick that I jumped. He just laughed.
“I hope आप don’t mind I looked at your schedule to see what class आप had next.” He कहा in that sweet velvety voice again.
Huh. I didn’t even notice.
“No…I don’t mind.” My voice sucked अगला to his. It made me upset with me.
“I… um live off of Olympic Dr.” I कहा shyly. “Just so आप know where you’re going.”
He smiled a wonderful smile. “I think I know where आप live.” He laughed
Just as I was going to ask how he interrupted me. “Small town remember.” He was still chuckling as if I was missing the inside joke.
I didn’t say anything else until we got to my house. Andrew must be at the hospital working because his car was gone when we pulled in the drive way. My head was foggy from being in the tight car. His smell surrounded me making it hard to think. We were stopped in the drive for about a मिनट when I finally asked him to come in.
“I actually I’ve to go…”He कहा in a voice that I didn’t understand. A heartbroken “Oh…” was all I could manage to get out.
“But, maybe tomorrow?” I noticed he was always leaving it up to me.
“Yea… tomorrow would be great!” I sounded like an over excited कुत्ते का बच्चा, पिल्ला but, that’s an understatement.
“Ok I’ll see आप tomorrow then.” He smiled his beautiful smile.
“Tomorrow…” I breathed I opened the door and a gust of wind blew through the door clearing my head so I could think. Before I could get my foot out the door he handed me my पर्स and backpack.
“Thanks.” I कहा in a clear even voice looking directly into his glorious face and eyes. The fresh air helped.
He cleared his throat. “Take it easy today.” He कहा in a husky voice.
Huh maybe I had an effect on him too. Even though it was almost impossible to think that I had an effect on such a person. I stepped out of the car into the cold I ran up to the porch and grabbed the key. I unlocked the door and took one step inside then turned around and waved bye as he started to back out of my drive way. He waved then disappeared down the road. I closed and locked the door and ran up to my room and sat my stuff down द्वारा my door. I went and laid down on my bed, thinking about all that had happened today. As I lay there I heard the भेड़िया from last night. I sat up. It was howling.
