It's hard to say for me because usually I do like my couples to have had a little bit of history between them before the show starts, but typically things did not end well in that said history they have. But recently I've been drawn to more couples that start off as strangers or friends too. It's pretty rare that I'll ship something that was pre-established as dating or married, but it has happened.

I tend to get kind of bored if the romance/relationship is already established. Even exes...Rarely do I want them with the person who is their ex from the get go
