"Damn, this खाना is nasty." LeShawna complained sat down अगला to Gwen.
Gwen sighed, "Yep." she noticed Heather sitting alone at a different तालिका, टेबल and smirked, "Just like Heather."
The क्वीन Bee's head snapped up, "What did आप just say?"
"Oh, आप didn't hear me?" she stood, "LeShawna कहा it was nasty and I कहा 'Just like Heather'!"
Heather grunted, "I am sooooooo not in the mood to insult you."
"That's because आप can't think of anything." the Goth taunted, making the other girl groan again. Gwen noticed how much paler she looked than usual, but thought nothing of it.
"Just shut your damn mouth." Heather mumbled.
"You shut your mouth, आप evil bitchy whore!"
"Ok, honestly, what did I ever do to you?"
This made all the campers laugh, exluding Heather herself.
"Are आप kidding me?" Gwen asked through laughter.
Heather stood, obviously getting frustrated, "Shut up! I'm not in the mood to-" she felt her stomach grumble and her knees go weak. She held her stomach and groaned.
"What's wrong?" Bridgette asked from the farther table.
When did I last eat for real?, Heather thought, Ah, shit... I can't even remember... She moaned in pain, coughing and doubling over, going pale, closing her eyes to hide what was happening inside of her.
"Chef, what the hell did आप put in this crap!" Gwen asked, putting her hands on her hips.
"Ah, I don't know..." Chef Hatchett scratched at his side, "Hang nails, bits of dead rats, garlic, some dried flaky things I found on the wall-"
Heather bent over and threw up. She wiped her mouth, "Garlic?" she asked in a tired, sick-sounding voice.
"Yeah, but I put that in there every time." he looked both ways, "Wards off the vampires."
Duncan laughed, "Vampires? Are आप for real, dude?"
"Shut your mouth, spawn of the devil! They're as real as आप and me! They take on our looks; act like us. But secretly-"
Heather threw up and had to hold onto her तालिका, टेबल to steady herself.
"Someone, get her out of here!" Chris yelled.
"Someone help me!" the क्वीन Bee yelled. Gwen sighed and picked up Heather. She carried her out of the Dinning Hall.
"N-Not the infirmary... The woods." Heather weakly said.
"But you're seriously sick! आप need--"
"No.... I n-need to be in the woodssss...." Heather seemingly hissed the last word.
Gwen was too anxious about Heather's sickness to notice the hissing. She reluctantly agreed, "Ok."
---The Woods---
"Thanks," Heather कहा carefully, tilting her head to the side as if she were deciding something. She didn't really like Gwen, but still felt a simple 'Thanks' was necessary.
"Will आप be okay?" Gwen's eyes were filled with concern. She ran her hand down the side of Heather's face. Heather leaned into the hand, wrapping her arms around Gwen. Their instincts took over, and in the woods that day, they seemed to forget they were enemies.... For the time being.
"Why are आप being so good to me? आप took me out here." Heather let go, "You care that I'm sick." Gwen dropped her, making the Asian girl groan in pain.
"Holy crap, I'm sorry!" Gwen knelt द्वारा her side and hugged her.
"Why do आप care? If I'm sick, then the Gophers will eliminate me. Then I'll be gone like आप want." she कहा coldly, groaning again.
"Are आप allergic to garlic?" Gwen asked, trying to change the subject.
"Well... Yeah..." Heather felt it was only slightly a lie.
"Why didn't आप freak out before then? Chef कहा he puts garlic in every time."
"Yeah... But this time was different." Gwen stared into Heather's eyes. Even though the lie was far-fetched, she beleived her. Something in those eyes... In that moment, those eyes would have made her beleive anything. Gwen would've believed Lindsay was going to Harvard, that DJ was a gangster, that Owen was going on a diet. Anything.
"I...." the Goth girl wanted to say so many things. She didn't dare avert her gaze, for fear the moment would snap. And if it did, they would be enemies again. In that moment, they seemed to be friends... Or, perhaps, something और complicated then that.
"Gwen," Heather lightly stroked Gwen's face, leaning in closely, wanting something... Something she shouldn't have wanted...
Heather kissed Gwen's neck. "Wha-" Gwen's words were cut off द्वारा the feel of being licked on the neck; then she heard a sound like a sword was drawn, but quieter.
"Wh-what are आप doing?" the Goth girl squeeked out.
A sharp pain erupted on Gwen's neck, one that made her almost scream. Then an extreme pleasure, making her moan, as if it were apologizing for all the pain before. She ran her hand through Heather's hair. She bit her lip, wanting things she never thought she'd want from Heather. Things that, for so long, she expected Trent to make her want. The thought of Trent, his face, his sweetness, made her guiltily push Heather away. Heather whimpered from the sudden absence of sweet liquid in her mouth.
The क्वीन Bee licked her lips and raised an eyebrow, "Well, from your taste, I see I'm not the only one secrets. Isn't that right, भेड़िया Girl?"
Gwen's eyes widened, "How do आप know--" realization struck her, "Wait. You're a... No wonder I never liked you!"
Heather laughed, exposing her fangs and mmoving closer to the werewolf. Gwen pushed Heather half-playfully, "I thought garlic was just a myth."
"It can't kill us, but it does repell us, and makes us sick if we haven't fed in a while."
"Oh." Gwen said, her eyes still wide.
The sun came out and shone on them, making the vampire girl cringe and stand. Gwen stood with her. She didn't enjoy the sun. वेयरवोल्फ were of the night, they preffered the moonlight, as did vampires. Not too many myths caught that वेयरवोल्फ didn't like the sun, Gwen thought, as they walked together so deep into the woods they were glad they both had night vision. The two were silent the whole way, simply thinking... Until Heather suddenly whipped around, her raven hair flying in wisps in the wind, and hugged Gwen tightly.
"What are you-"
"Sssshh," she cut Gwen off.
The Goth hesitantly wrapped her arms around the vampire and blushed. They looked at eachother. Slowly, carefully, they connected their lips. Electricity, pleasure, desire....
Realizing what was happening, they pushed eachother away.
"That didn't happen." Heather declared immediatley.
"What didn't happen?" Gwen played along, shrugging.
The क्वीन Bee flipped her hair behind her, put a hand on her hip, and walked out of the forest as if strutting down a runway. The Goth rolled her eyes, sighed, and walked out as well.
