If it was any random idol rapper appearing on smtm4 I would  be complaining... but yano, kidoh and jucy are all active underground as well, so I hope theyll do good!! Plus Kidoh and Iron are in the same underground crew (Daenamhyup, also with rap monster, supreme boi, illevn, kyum2, marvel J) so am I really looking forward to their appearances on the show :) I really do miss Evol though... I thought they were filming an MV earlier this year? I wonder what happened :(

Anyway, I love Jucy. I think EvoL are one of the most underrated girl groups (they should have left their label with Block B tbh. It\'s obvious the label doesn\'t give a shit about them).

@luckyStarLight I wasn\'t talking about the CEO. I know that the situation with Block B and EvoL are completely different. My point was sort of more that since Block B left, EvoL haven\'t had a comeback at all. So they might as well have left when Block B did so that they would have more of a chance to do stuff.

I also agree they need new management, or at least a company without the past stigma of corruption. Jucy is right at the top of idol rappers, and EVOL has tons of unused talent. Say\'s vocals are so strong. They should jump ship if at all possible and get with another company. What a waste of talent......

@Ice_Breakerr after block b lawsuit maybe they had delay in their comeback during the process of changing in the company I think the members were working on other stuff (learning 9writing ,composing ..etc) and improving ) you can watch their video on ON AIR STARDOM

@Ice_Breakerr btw stardom said they will now focus on their artist so I think we might see Evol comeback maybe at the end of the year

EvoL\'s Jucy" gives me hope that EvoL still exists and will come back at some point. Unfortunately, while I hope that is the case, my mind says "no". Such a talented group, and probably never coming back.

I don\'t understand why people complain about the show being idol show (some of these idol were underground rapper) and their part of the group is not just to fill up rapper spot , but most of them are very talented .. this is show to showcase other rapper talent just like how Immortal song or Mask King show how talented idol are as singer 

It wasn\'t meant to be that way. It was started to give new, unknown hip-hop rappers a stage as well as promote already established hip-hop artists.

I would say smtm is still more like kpop star and superstar k. It\'s not just a showcase, but it\'s a competition. The people that are complaining are narrow minded hip hop fans that dislike idols and think hip hop is superior than any other music genre.

@linney1204 In a way, these idols including Bobby from last season are new and unknown hip hop idols. I barely know any of them.

@redhop Actually, no. I interviewed the head writer and it was supposed to be only about hip-hop when it started because there were no shows about hip-hop at the time. It was suppose to be an audition survival show, but the way they choose who goes on now, it\'s more like a showcase. The top 16 is usually set before auditions even happen. I live in Korea and they were both very well know before going on the show.

@linney1204 show doesn\'t need to be the same if there is chance to make the show better then it better to change it .. some of these idol rapper are still unknown and this show give them chance to show their talent

But these idol rappers ued to be on underground. I would complain if actually idol rappers like Minho and Chanyeol woud join. Yano probably will slay everyone becaus damn he is so good.

@luckyStarLight but at least they got to debut and now have a fan base who will vote for these idols no matter what.. I\'m just saying that it\'s unfair for those rappers who have the talent and aren\'t well known. If all these idol rappers are just going to join then they might as well make a new idol rapper competition/variety show

@mehronggg I think the competition was hard on SMTM3.. and even though Bobby & B.I were on the show it didn\'t change anything the rapper who were on the show got their name out and start doing collaboration and releasing song (even unpretty rapstar participant got more popular variety show ,collaboration , concert ..etc) so I don\'t see how the other rapper on the new season are going to make this show idol show (even Mino is on the show) .. I hope Kidoh , Yano & Jucy will get popular after the show ( Topp Dogg & EvoL)

@luckyStarLight yes but it was just Bobby and BI back then.. Now everyone is sending out their rappers to participate in this show for marketing strategy or in hopes of becoming the next "Bobby". And no I don\'t listen to them but I listened to Mino back when he was still an underground rapper (he was very excellent might I add) and I\'m quite upset that he is joining this because these idols have the fan base and popularity already so what\'s the point in joining

@luckyStarLight i\'m saying the "next Bobby" because him and BI were basically the reason why other idols started joining this season. The "next Bobby" because Bobby won last season and is basically huuuuugeee now in Korea despite him not debuting yet and is giving a lot of hype to iKon.... Marketing strategy...

@luckyStarLight if they\'re really good in the show and are good in the eyes of the judges and the audience, then yes, I hope that they get the recognition that they deserve. I also hope that the judges will not be biased towards these idol rappers and actually judge then based on the skills that they show

@mehronggg Unfortunately in the early rounds the judges have little say. The producers and writers set who goes for the top 16, cutting out about 90% of the people who show up for auditions. Most if not all of the top 16 is already set and they haven\'t even held auditions yet. If no one is speaking to the writers and producers on your behalf, you have very little chance of making it passed the first or second round.

@linney1204 Sorry, forgot one part. Or if you\'re not already well known. If you are a no name underground rapper, even if you are super talented, chances are really low you will make it to the top 16 because its already mostly set before auditions even happen.

@linney1204 hence these idols having bigger chances at winning because their company is backing them up/"supporting" them... which is sad

@mehronggg For the most part. The staff on SMTM has said publicly they don\'t know much about hip-hop, so... But it also goes for bigger underground and established guys too. I didn\'t find out until a few weeks ago, but essentially if you want to be considered, you need to have someone - be it your label or a hyung or teacher or something - "introduce" you to the writers and producers. Talk you up and such.

@mehronggg Yep, it is. Which is why a lot of guys no longer support the show. I don\'t know how long that\'s been going on, but I can only assume it\'s gotten worse as the number of people auditioning has gone up. Last year was about 3,000 and this year is an estimated 7,500.

@mehronggg if you watch SMTM3 you will noticed that there were some participant that were part of company and the judge was from the same company as well btw I\'m not talking about YG) .. even some underground rapper are under good hip hop company so I doubt that Kidoh, Yano, Jucy ,Rex.D .. will get any support from their companies (Jucy didn\'t make it when she was on SMTM2) .. I don\'t know about the other rapper Candle, Mino , Taewoon &Jooheon (I don\'t trust starship )

I wasn\'t expecting that cuz they are preparing for their comeback .. I wasn\'t going to watch the show regularly .. but now I\'ll watch every episode :D OMG I\'m so EXCITED
