I remember visiting this website once...
It was called ‘The X-Files’ Season 11: Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose Returning | TVLine
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
is bringing back Mulder and Scully 2.0 for Season 11.
) have signed on to reprise their roles as Agents Miller and Einstein in the series’ latest revival (set to bow on Fox in early 2018). It remains unclear how many of Season 11’s 10 episodes they will appear in.
The X-Files Update: Mitch Pileggi to Return as Skinner in Season 11
debut in last year’s six-episode revival as FBI special agents who bore more than a passing resemblance to David Duchovny’s Mulder and Gillian Anderson’s Scully. (Amell’s Miller was open to nontraditional ideas and explanations, while Ambrose’s Agent Einstein — a redheaded doctor who chose to make her career in the Bureau — was far more interested in solving mysteries by using clear-cut, irrefutable science.)
There was buzz that Fox and series creator Chris Carter briefly toyed with (but ultimately jettisoned) the idea of launching an
spinoff centered on Miller and Einstein, something Carter neither confirmed not denied. For her part, Ambrose sidestepped the spinoff chatter when we spoke to her last year. “All I know is it was a great place to work and I would love to do more,” she said at the time. “I love working with Chris and David and Gillian. They’re all amazing, talented people… and I would like nothing more than to do more.”

Awesome they were part of the second best episode of the revival!
I liked them. Even if the episodes they were in, weren’t the best. I’m hoping for less pretentious navel gazing from Chris Carter this season. And some rectification of the trauma they inflicted on the show’s mythology. There were some great stand alone episodes though, so more of that please.
I love Lauren Ambrose and wouldn’t mind seeing more of both agents, but they really need to ease up into the wink-wink nudge-nudge nature of their characters.
So glad the actors signed and are doing 10 episodes. Fox and Sculley are great actors. FBI would not be the same without Mitch.
These two aren’t doing 10 episodes it says the amount they’re in hasn’t been determined yet. I would bet 5 tops depending on the stories for this season.
Thought they served as a distraction. Uninteresting stock characters.
Glad to hear. I was hoping for more of them in the revival last year. So hopefully much more in this season. Loved how they were being mentored.
I’m happy to hear it, I really liked them and thought they fit well.
They may not be doing a spinoff but I’ll bet they’re hoping to keep the show going with these two eventually. Anderson especially I don’t know how much more she will do. She lives in England and has to be away from her small children to film in Vancouver. They may have learned from when Duchovny left and are trying to get the audience used to them ahead of time.
I am a big fan of Scully and Mulder! They really put the show on the map! I hope these two can pull it off!!!🤔🤔
I found Miller really bland. I would like to see some Einstein & Doggett episodes.
I love both these actors but they were terrible and wasted in these roles. Stop trying to make Sculder 2.0 HAPPEN.
UGH!!! I don’t want these wannabes back!!! They took too much screentime last season.
Really? I Know that they neeed more support characters, but they are unnecesary… i hope the story lines with them be more serious and not a “cartoon”.
Great news, I liked them. Also may make things easier to shoot if GA/DD don’t have to be in every single scene, considering how busy they are
Nope. Nothing against the two actors as people, but Miller and Einstein have got to go. Annoying characters, distract from main story line, too clichéd. A spin off would be a terrible idea.
I actually really liked Robbie and Lauren on XFiles. I’ll definitely be watching!
I wish you wouldn’t. They ruin the show. Terrible talent-less actors. Not all classics need to be “upgraded” for the new age.
I tend to agree with you. However it it means getting more episodes with M&S, I’ll live with it.
Exactly!! Theyll ruin the LEGEND of Xfiles..they have to be really flipping stupid to even think it. Its beyond corny…
They cannot ruin something that’s set in stone.
Miller was OK, he’s likeable but not really a meaty character. Einstein was one of the worst elements of S10 — she was utterly rude and full of herself. The only way I’m interested in seeing her again is if she’s dying a terrible, slow, very painful death.
As much as I didn’t care for the two new agents, it was obvious that they’ll probably be winding down with Mulder & Scully. It’s good to know, at least, that one more set of episodes will still feature M&S. Just hearing the intro theme gets my juices flowing!
Good news. Two general comments on the revival though: 1) Chris Carter should concentrate on the writing (with all due respect, he’s not a talented director); 2) Fox should give decent budget for mythology épisodes…
Will take X-Files anyway I can get it. Good, bad, ugly, and in-between. Glad Skinner is coming back. Would love to see Dogbert! O poor Lone Gun Men. 😎
I’m in . Glad to see both actors returning. With time travel it would be neat if Robbie showed up on Legends Of Tomorrow.
I love Xfiles and can’t wait till the series begins again!!
Can’t we just have Mulder, Scully, Skinner, the main mytharc characters and some famed good writing?
We don’t need nextGen M&S and we don’t need a Diana Fowley throwback.
THIS is why I wanted CC nowhere near S11. He might be an idea man, but he’s terrible at development and execution.
I love TXF, but TXF ended with S7, and some would argue S5.
Ugh. No. Please don’t make us endure any more of them. Agent Einstein was so wretchedly written to the point where I’d cringe every time she said something. This is certainly not the actresses fault so don’t mistake my irritation as a criticism of the performance. No, the blame for the lies squarely on the writers shoulders. I don’t know if they have all new writing staff or the old staff has just forgotten how to write genuinely strong female characters like Scully now that they are approaching their dotage. So I don’t know whether it’s the fault of the previous generation or the new one, but someone done messed up in a major way because Einstein is a horrible parody of what someone *thinks* a strong woman is based on stereotypes and other media/fiction nonsense. She was constantly being contrary for contrary’s sake. Instead of Scully’s cool, calm, formidably informed approach that has permanently earned her a top spot as one of TV’s most complex and realistic examples of an actual strong woman ever, they introduced a character that was needlessly angry most of the time while she was treating just about everyone with an unjustified haughty and huffy attitude in way that gave the impression that anyone who didn’t agree with her was stupid or crazy. Her belittling and disrespectful way she spoke to her own partner and Mulder when dealing with the paranormal/unorthodox cases grated my nerves. Scully often disagreed wit Mulder but she did so in a way that was respectful and no matter what she thought or believed she was there to help her partner where as Agent Einstein has come off as the type who smugly watch and say ‘I told you so’ while Miller was struggling. I’m really bummed to hear that they are coming back this season. I guess all that’s left to do is hope and pray the writers remember how to write a genuine strong woman instead of the farce we had to deal with is season 10.
I’m not going to complain about more Lauren Ambrose on my TV. And look, they have to either wrap up those characters or flesh them out more. It’s a reasonable and OK decision, in my books.
No no no no and NEVER!!! It will be sacralidge, and the WORST decision ever to “SPIN” XFILES with these two Mulder and SCULLY WANNABEEES!! DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!
Wouldn’t surprise me if they take over if FOX wants to keep making X-Files and Duchovny & Anderson don’t want to.
Good news. They were both great in the revival.
