	INLOVEWITHDAMON picked Definitely not. Elena's the one for him.: When Damon falls in love, he falls HARD. Think about how much Katherine put him through before he got over her. And the only reason he finally did was because he found out she never gave a shit about him. Are you trying to tell me that Elena will EVER stop caring about him? Even at a time when she hated him, she still understood him better than anyone. So it would be very out of character for her to give up on him after she's already accepted him even after he killed her brother in front of her. He always knew he didn't deserve anyone's friendship because he lived his life being a horrible person. But then she came and gave him a chance when nobody else did. Everyone has a right to not like him, especially Elena, but she's the only one who was willing to see the good beneath the bad. Damon falling out of love with Elena will not make sense...it is the only thing that would make me stop watching the show. It's complete character destruction for Damon, and very possibly Elena as well. Not to mention my OTP would be ruined. It just wouldn't make sense. posted एक साल से अधिक पुराना.

We have no idea how Elena will fall for Damon so you can't just assume things. I will never understand when people say Damon will be the second option...when she chooses to be with Damon, Damon WILL be her first option...that's the whole point of choosing. Those of you who think DE will never happen are living in denial. Yes it is all about Stefan&Elena right now but one day it WILL be about Damon&Elena. Also "Elena loves Stefan" has nothing to do with anything. He only told Elena he loved her when spoiler---- he knew he was about to die. That was the first time he ever told Elena he loved her. In the show Damon loved Katherine but she wasn't worth it.
