chapter 1
Damon pov.
I sat there in Pairs in one of the many houses Stefan and I owned in Europe. It was weird not having him here to yell at me when I left women wondering mindlessly around the house before I kicked them out. So I sat there in the bedroom trying to sleep after sucking the blood of a pretty red head that came घर with me after I went for a walk in a park अगला to the hotel. I soared through the sky over trees and animals. I was headed toward the sound of water when I saw something that looked like a human girl. I कबूतर to the ground and changed back into my original form. As I got closer to the shape I saw it was a girl, I started to run to her to see if she was dead. I carefully moved the beautiful dark brown hair from her face. I could see that she was quite beautiful she had bronze colored skin. Her eyes were shut so I couldn’t see the color, but I could feel a faint pulse, so she was still alive. I picked her up and her body slumped, her head fell back. I carefully laid her head against my chest and started to run to the house.

Rachel stroke her fingers through her hair. “Oh my God. What have I done?” she mumbled agitated. “Think, Rachel, think” She looked around. Then she grabbed Gabe’s feet and dragged him to the farthest corner.
She ran to the stairs and went to the रसोई, रसोईघर where she searched the drawers for matches. In her panic she forgot she had been living here for about twenty years and the matches lay in the सेकंड drawer अगला to the cupboard underneath the sink ever since. She pulled it open and grabbed the matches. Then she opened the fridge and took out a bottle of Malt Whisky. She ran back downstairs to the body. She opened the bottle of Malt and poured its content over the body. Then she stroke a match and let it fall down and watch how Gabe went up into flames.
As she watched him burn a sudden agony fulfilled her body and she dropped the bottle. She fell down on her knees and felt her body contracting and convulsing while she screamed.
She ran to the stairs and went to the रसोई, रसोईघर where she searched the drawers for matches. In her panic she forgot she had been living here for about twenty years and the matches lay in the सेकंड drawer अगला to the cupboard underneath the sink ever since. Then the earth started shaking and Elena rolled down.
The road that led to the open field cracked open and Elena’s feet got stuck in one of the cracks.
“Ha, damn it!” she cursed and she pulled her leg, but she couldn’t हटाइए it. The crack grew bigger and soon she fell in a whole. A deep one.
She looked up and saw how the crack slowly closed again.
“Elena”
