Is it even possible to make her human again? I seriously still can't believe that L.J. Smith practically made her a reborn human. I think, for the fans who haven't read the books, it would just throw them off and the show would lose its appeal.

I like both options. In the books Damon became human again. So for the series it could be possible. but who knows.

Just no. I'm just going to assume that Elena turning into a human again, would be done by magic. That would really suck, because magic is so inconsistent already in this show, and reversing vampirism would just make it worse. The show should deal with vampire Elena. Period.
