Yeah, what smoore23 said. Pam's didn't take anywhere near as much guts as Jim's did.

Just because he came out and acknowledged his feelings first.
But Pam's can't have been easy either. I mean she said it front of an audience including Jim's then girlfriend.

Yeah, but she didn't put pretty much her whole life on the line. Jim said that if Pam weren't at Dunder Mifflin that he wouldn't know what to do. Jim risked not having her in her life EVER. If it went wrong, he'd never be able to live with himself.

interesting...see I think Pam's because when Jim confessed to her, they were really great friends and she was all flirty and he had some semblance of hope that she felt the same way. When Pam confessed, they were barely speaking and she was convinced that he was totally over it so I think it had more guts for her to come out and say it anyway.
oh and she had an audience...so yeah, thats just my opinion

I think personally it would have been pretty darn hard for Pam. That confession was the product of a whole year of working up courage. I'm so proud of Pam.
But I think Jim's would have been harder. Pam's situation was horrible she had to say something or leave - without Jim what's the point of her job? Jim was in what looked like a comfortable position. They were best friends, she was finally getting married, everything seemed to be looking up for her and then he threw that at her.
But I suppose Jim seemed fairly happy with Karen too... Ok so maybe I think they're fairly evenly matched?!

I think she was more brave only because she was just learning to start telling people what she wanted and to be more forward with other people. That takes guts inmy book.

by far because Jim took a chance when nothing was certain but when Pam did it others knew how they possible felt.

Jim, because he put it all on the line, hit or miss. Jim knew Pam was engaged to Roy and he needed to let her know how he felt about her. Pam never really said "I'm in love with you." to Jim after she ran across the coals.

Both, but Pam's was in front of everyone!
