Out of all the characters in both the Lion King movies, Mufasa, Simba & Kovu. I have nicknamed them "The Three Kings" for the sake of this article.
Mufasa
Mufasa, the only one the unfortunately, died an untimely death.
He was the wise one of the bunch. It almost seemed like Mufasa knew what would happen in the future.
An example of this is this conversation between Mufasa and
Simba;Young Simba: We're pals, right?
Mufasa: Right.
Young Simba: And we'll always be together, right?
Mufasa: Simba, let me tell आप something my father told me. Look at the stars. The great kings of the past are up there, watching over us.
Young Simba: Really?
Mufasa: Yes. So whenever आप feel alone, just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you. And so will I.
He knew exactly what to say to make Simba feel better, but in a way as not to startle him. Simba would remember this conversation for the rest of his life. In this way, he was a great parent. He had control over Simbas curiosity, and if Scar wasn't out for sabotage, Simba would have never explored the हाथी grave yard, because he knew it was agaisnt Mufasas wishes. Mufasa has such a presence, that no one could disobey him.
Mufasa was murdered द्वारा Scar. He had just saved Simbas life, and poor Simba believed it was his fault.
Simba
Simba unfortunately had a tough life. He spent the majority of his life believing he was the reason for his father, Mufasas, death.
After he watched his father fall to his death, he was forced to run away from Pride Rock. He could have died out there on his own, easily. Luckily, Timon & Pumbaa found him, and they raised him. The time he spent there was very easy going. He lived द्वारा the आदर्श वाक्य "Hakuna Matata". Along the way, he लॉस्ट who he was.
It wasn't until Nala found him that he really started considering going back to become King. Although, ultimately it was Rafiki and seeing his father in spirit form which gave him the strength to go back.
It was a great दिन for Simba. He fought Scar for his right to be King. He finally found closure, he was not the one who killed his father. He took back Pride Rock, and finally, all was right again.
Kovu
Kovu is very different from the other two Kings. For he was not born into the Monarchy, या even into the pack. He was actually an Outsider, whom was trained for his whole life to avenge Scar.
That all changed when he fell for Kiara, Simba's daughter. At first, the Outsiders planned for him to get close to Kiara, so he could be closer to Simba. The plan was to kill, and to become King.
However, after spending time with Kiara, he wanted to be a part of the Pride, not destroy it. Simba would not believe it, for the Outsiders had attacked him and he believed Kovu was responsible. He was exiled.
He wasn't gone for long. Kiaras प्यार for him was so strong, that she ran away from Pride Rock to find him. While coming back, they entered the battle between the Outsiders and the Pride. He showed his loyalty, and fought with Simba. After that, he was finally accepted to the Pride.
