"The White looks half finished." said Nico.
I turned and noticed he was right.
"Oh, look, a god is coming!" Thalia said sarcastically.

A female godess walked up. I knew exactly who she was.

"Athena." I said.
"Hmmmmmmm..Percy Jackson. Thalia Grace. Nico DiAngelo.All of whom who shall witness the bloodiest American and halfblood event. The Civil War has begun." said Athena.

I blinked. "Huuuuuuh?"
Athena rolled her eyes. "Clueless, as usual."
"Count me in," Thalia said. Nico nodded his head vigorously.
"What 'bloodiest conflict'?" Thalia suspiciously asked. "'Sides, where ARE we?"
"Why, Thalia," Nico said, shocked. "I don't know. Doesn't it seem like D.C.?"
I turned to him. "Then, why is the White House half-finished?"
Nico was at a loss for words.
Athena faintly smiled. "Nico is right, yet he is wrong. Yes, it is D.C., no, it is not MODERN D.C."
I toppled over, straight into Thalia, who deftly caught me. "Woah, there, Seaweed Brain! Be careful!"
I spluttered. "Excuse me?"
Nico stared. "Civil War. Are you telling us that we are in 1864?"
Athena dramatically sighed. "Finally. And now, I must leave you to figure out things by yourself."
She disappeared in a *poof* of smoke.
"Great," I said, struggling to stand up (Thalia dropped me when she heard we were in 1864). "Now, how do we get back?"
"What, are you asking me?" Thalia sarcastically asked. "Gee, I don't know."
Nico stared at her. "Are you telling me that you know how to get out of here?"
"D'you here sarcasm in my voice or not?"
"YES!"
"Joy," Thalia grumbled.
"WHAT?" I demanded.
"It's simple. Bloodiest conflict in American and demigod history, hmm? Fight in it, and stay alive."

"The way I see it," Said Thalia, "We have two objectives."
"First we have to get to camp and figure out what the deal with this civil war is,
Then we have to find a way to get home."
I rolled my eyes. "Have I ever told you that your brilliant, Thalia?"
"Oh, and I suppose you have some better ideas?" She fired back.
"No, but what you said was kind of obvious."
"Well then-"
"Guys," Nico cut in. "This isn't really the time to argue, in case you didn't notice."
"We have to travel from Washington D.C. to New York through Civil War torn America.
We're sure to run into some monsters, and we don't have anyway to get there besides walking."
"He's right," I said. "Any Ideas?"

"We should walk in the contry to keep away from mortal sight, and the land cant change that much in 2 hundred years, can it?"
Thalia asked. We were walking in a forest that was near a road that had a sign that said New jersy, so we followed it.

"Well, some times it does." percy said. " Your tree wasnt there, and I bet that they didnt have the strawberry sevice cover-up to there exit. so we have to be really carefull, because we could walk right past it without even knowing."I ws barly paying attention. We could easily go some wear, and change the coarse of the Civil war! We could Help the Northereners at The battle Of Bull Run, or Fredricksburg, or chansellorsville so they would win them. Or help the Southereners in the battle of Gettysburg or the battle of Shilo....... We could even help slaves escape!

It was scary, and exiting at the same time....

After about two hours of walking, I was plumb out of breath.
"How...much...longer..." Percy wheezed.
Thalia, on the other hand, didn't look tired at all.
"Assuming that we have been walking for..."
Suddenly, Percy asked, "Nico. Can you shadow-travel?"
I moaned. "Why didn't you think of that sooner? I'm tired... don't have the strength to summon a mouse bone, much less shadow-travel."
Thalia rolled her eyes. "Hold on to me."
"You're a girl," I pointed out. "And a Hunter."
"Not in this time period," Thalia dismissively said. "And if Artemis has some way of tracking me, then I deserve to be kicked out."
I didn't complain anymore, and took hold of her. "What are you going to do?"
Thalia's eyes gleamed. "You're not the only one who can travel long distances in a blink of an eye."
She muttered something under her breath. A lightning bolt came swooping towards us, and we were whisked away.

I probably screamed like a girl, which seemed silly to me because I've shadow-traveled before. Only, this 'lightning-travel' thing was way different.
Imagine that you are in the world's most powerful electromagnetic field. Now, multiply the static sound and feeling by one hundred. That's how great it was.
We fell into a crumpled heap in the (I was guessing) woods of Camp Half-Blood.
Thalia got up, completely unperturbed by the horror of lightning-travel. Guess she had some practice.
Percy groaned, and passed out completely.
"Thalia!" I mumbled, dazed. "What was that for?"
"Well, would you want to have ran/walked another three hours?"
I didn't say anything, which made Thalia smirk. "Thought so."
"Poor Percy's passed out now," I meekly said.
"He'll wake up... eventually," Thalia said. "In about a day or so."
I gaped. "A DAY?"
"Yep. So, shall we leave him out here, or bring him to the infirmary?"
I grabbed one of Percy's arms, and started lugging him. Thalia snatched his other arm, and luckily, helped me.
Everything went out of control when the dracanae, empoisai, and hellhounds hit.

Just want to point out a couple of things here:
1.should percy get some form of awesome super travel?
2.Thalia can't calculate that, and percy and Nico wouldn't be that tired from that.
3.Percy is invincible.

Nico started off the battle in a happy note: "You landed us in San Fransisco."
Thalia shrugged. "Are you just going to talk, or are you going to get sliced?"
I drew Riptide, and slashed at a hellhound that came too close. Luckily for me, it had just started to rain.
Nico echoed my thoughts. "You're lucky it's raining."
"I know, right?" I cheerfully said.
Thalia stabbed some dracanae to dust. "Frisco, huh?"
Nico scowled at her. "At the West Coast."
"Then, let's go the camp, NOW," I said.
"How?" Nico asked, still pissed off.
"I'LL get us to the right place," I said.
Nico snorted. "What, some sort of 'water travel'?"
"Exactly," I agreed.
"Uh-oh," Thalia mumbled.

mmm. I sounded kinda mean before.. sorry lol.

Percy

"Well, at least you were closer than Thalia." Said Nico.
"Yep," I said, stepping out of the ocean.
"Kinda cool that you can tell where we are if your in the ocean." Nico said.
"Thanks."
"Well then, lets get going," said Thalia, who didn't look like she was in the best of moods.
"Yeah," I said. "Connecticut is a lot closer than LA, but we still have a bit of a walk."
