Prologue:
Percy POV
The giant war was over, and we had finally won. None of the heroes of the profecy were killed, but we lost a lot of campers that day. I took out 3 giants with the help of my father, and we practically turned this war on our own. Afterwards, the gods gave me and my friends immortality, and I was once again offered godhood, and I again rejected the offer, and instead, asked for Hestia and Hades to have thrones on Olympus. The gods accepted my request, and there was now 14 thrones in the throne room. I was really glad that the war was finally over and my relationship with Annabeth was really good. We were hanging out all the time at camp just enjoying each other's company. After a long day of training, I just kissed my girlfriend goodnight and went to my cabin. Once there, I just plopped down onto my bed and I had a vivid dream. I was on Olympus (the one in Manhattan, not Greece) and all of the gods were arguing. Zeus looked really pissed at my father, and my father was glaring back at him. Just then, Artemis, Athena, Zeus, Demeter, Dionysus, Ares, Hera, Hephaestus and Aphrodite sent a bolt of pure energy towards my father, and he crumbled to the floor, turning to dust, not able to withstand the power of 9 Olympian gods combined. Then, Zeus threw his master bolt straight at the ocean, instantly killing Amphitrie and Triton. Hestia, spotting me, mouthed one word: Run.


Here is the prologue guys, now the chapters will be longer than this, but I won't write one unless I have at least 2 comments, just to know that people are enjoying my story. Hopefully, if you comment, chapter one will be up tonight.

ive read one like this on fanfiction.net it seems the same few differnaces

like I said, there are already a couple of those on fanfiction, but this one will take a different direction. Although, I may take a couple of ideas from these stories.
Ch.1
Percy POV
I woke up in my bed in cabin 3 sweating, remembering the dream I just had. 'this isn't possible, I thought, it must be my imagination'. I pushed the dream aside, and got ready for another day training at camp, but more importantly, I couldn't wait to see Annabeth. They way her beautiful grey eyes lit up when she laughs, the way she makes me feel happy, the way I feel when I'm around her, I just can't get enough of it! She's my wise girl. I met her in front of her cabin, and we went hand in hand towards the dining pavilion. We scarified some of our food for the gods, ate breakfast, and after about an hour of me whining, we went to the archery range. I much rather train in the arena, thank you very much! My archery hadn't improved at all recently, and when most of the campers saw me coming, they quickly left the archery range, fearing to e hit by a stray arrow. After 2 hours of Annabeth trying, to no avail, to try and improve my shooting with a bow, she gave up and we went to the arena. We sparred there for a couple of hours until the conch horn sounded, and we headed to have dinner. After that, I went to the beach, and just sat on the beach watching the ocean. Surprisingly, it was restless tonight. As I was lost in my thoughts, a bright flash appeared, and I quickly uncapped riptide and aimed it at the light. There stood before me Hestia, Hades, Apollo and Hermes, looking grim."Percy, Hestia said, you can't stay at camp anymore.
-What! Why?
-Because Zeus and the rest of the Olympians think your dad was a traitor and helped Gaea in the war, and he thinks that you helped him, answered Hades.
-Zeus is stupid, I muttered. Wait, if he thinks I'm a traitor, are you here to kill me.
-On the contrary Percy, we are here asking you to leave camp, said Hermes. Go to the Ocean, claim your father's throne, the sea needs a king. After a few years in the sea, you will be the new sea god. We only urge you not to tell anyone this, since Zeus doesn't know about us being here, and leave as soon as possible.
-Thank you guys, I said, bowing to them, I will be eternally grateful to you.
-No Percy, after all you have done, we are the ones in your debt, Apollo said, now good bye Percy, and good luck. With that, they left. I ran back to the dining pavilion, wanting to tell Annabeth about everything that happened, but I just got there in time to hear Chiron announcing a game of capture the flag. Fine, I told myself, It can wait until after the game. After both teams split up, the conch horn sounded, letting know that the game began. I rushed towards the ocean, knowing that I'm the strongest there. Weirdly, I didn't see Annabeth anywhere. Ignoring this, I got to the beach quickly, and waited, until suddenly, all the campers came towards me, weapons raised. Realizing what was happening, I took out riptide and faced them. "Traitor! You will not live another moment! We're going to kill you, just like the gods killed your father", one of the campers yelled. Looking around, I didn't see Annabeth, so I asked:" Where's Annabeth?"" Oh don't worry, we locked her in her cabin since she seems to think that you are innocent. Once we kill you, we'll let her out", another camper said. Just then, I summoned a hand of water to take me to the sea. In the middle of doing this, I heard the hunter's horn, and I got distracted. Bad move. One of the campers let loose an arrow, and it went through my chest, making me fall into the sea, blacking out.

Ch.2
Annabeth POV
After we finished dinner, Percy went back to the beach, while I stayed at the pavilion talking to my half-brothers and sisters. Chiron stamped his hooves, and all the attention turned to him."Campers, I have some important news: the gods are going to visit us to tell us something important".As he finished, 9 bright flashes appeared, and a booming voice thundered(sorry, couldn't help myself):" Campers, gather around. We are here to discuss an important matter. We have just found out that Poseidon was a traitor, and we suspect that his son was helping him. We are here to discuss ways to dispose of him". Shocked, I said:" With all due respect, Lord Zeus, but Percy's helped us in both wars, I doubt he would betray us" "Ah, but my child, it is true. And I have found just the way to dispose of him. During capture the flag, I order you to kill him" said Athena. All the campers nodded their heads, and went towards the forest for capture the flag, but I stood in front of them, decided not to let them hurt Percy. Just then, Zeus snapped his fingers, and I found myself locked in my cabin. I kicked and punched the door for what seemed like forever, but it just wouldn't budge. After about half an hour, a camper came and opened the door, releasing me. I went towards the big house to talk to Chiron, and when he saw me, he said:" I'm sorry, child, but it is done, Percy is dead." Upon hearing his words, I started crying, and I stormed off to the beach, where I plopped down on the sand, and let loose all the tears. I can't believe it, my seaweed brain is gone! Forever! And I couldn't do anything to help him. In front of me, the sea was restless, and I thought that it sensed the death of it's son.

Percy POV
I woke up in an all too familiar room, with a familiar cyclops head above me." Tyson?" " Yay, brother lives! And his brain works!" And he crushed me with his cyclops hug. For a moment, I wondered what had happened, until all of my memories came back, and I remembered what happened: the betrayal of camp, of the gods, after everything that I did for them. Fine, I thought, let's see how they will do without me at camp. I went to the throne room, Tyson by my side. All of the guards that saw me bowed, and I nodded my head in appreciation. The two guards at the door opened the large doors of the throne room, and I went in. The throne room was still the same, except for my father's trident that was near his throne.How did it get here, I thought. Brother, daddy's trident like your magic pen, if he dead, trident come here, Tyson answered in my head. I totally forgot that I could communicate with him by thought. He pushed me towards the throne, and I grabbed the trident. the whole power of the sea flowed to me, and it was angry at it Lord's death." How long was I out, Tyson?" "Brother, you sleep for 10 days". I was shocked, then, I thanked him for taking care of me. Just then, all the mermen came into the throne room, along with the cyclops and all the sea creatures, bowed and said:" Hail Lord Perseus,new Lord of the sea!" One merman came towards me and said:" My lord, in 2 or 3 years, the trident's power will turn you into the new god of the seas, and you will have all of your father;s power. I only urge you to learn the ways of the mermen, along with the roman and Greek ways that you have already acquired, so that you can be even more powerful than your father." I nodded my head and said:" Tyson, I want you and the rest of the cyclops to go to camp during the campfire and announce that we will no longer be helping them, just don't say my name. Just say: our new Lord, okay?" He quickly bowed and gathered the rest of the cyclops. As for me, I swimmed back to camp, and headed towards the stables. Once I was sure no one saw me, and no one was in the stables, I went in.
" Boss, you're alive! I told you guys that boss wouldn't die that easily!" blackjack whinnied. Laughing, I said:" You betcha blackjack. Now I have a favor to ask from you pegasi: don't let anyone ride you from now on, and let them only enter to give them food". All the pegasi answered: "Of course my lord!" while blackjack said:" You got it boss!". Smiling, I dove back into the sea to start my training with the mermen.

Percy POV
200 years have passed since the gods (well, most of them anyway) had betrayed me, and I have just finished my training with the mermen. Tell you the truth, their fighting style was a lot different from the Greek and roman fighting styles, and a lot more complicated. But, at the same time, this new technique that he acquired enabled him to alternate between 3 totally different techniques, catching most of his opponents by surprise. Tyson was still the leader of the cyclops (I turned him immortal, because I didn't want to lose my half brother) and my second in command. Together, we were exploring all of the ocean, searching for followers of Oceanus and taking them out. It was actually a lot of fun. Another cool thing was, even though I had all of my father's powers, I had control over all forms of water, which was awesome! With my training ended, I could now easily take on Zeus and beat him. One of a couple of things that went through my mind was Annabeth, well actually, she was the most important thing that went through my mind. I always kept an eye on her to see what she was doing, and, to my relief, she still decided not to date anyone after that hole fiasco at camp. Also, all most of my friends from the giant war were still alive, seeing that they were immortal, except for a few who died on quests, or defending camp against monster attacks. Surprisingly, the monsters still decided to attack camp, even though Gaea had been put back to sleep. So why were they still attacking? He pushed the thought aside, and focused on another mater. Somewhere in Vegas, Percy could feel through his trident that sometimes, almost rarely, someone or something was controlling water, and it annoyed him to no ends. Today, he had enough, and summoned Delphin, Lord of the dolphins, and said:" Delphin, do you know if my father, or even Triton had a kid before they died?". Delphin looked shocked, but composed himself and said:"Yes, my Lord, your father did have a child, and just before he died, placed him in the Lotus hotel and casino, fearing what the gods would do, since he was feeling that he was a traitor, when he was not." I nodded slowly, then dismissed him. I have another brother? Cool! Quickly, I summoned a cyclops, and said:"Go to the Lotus hotel and casino and bring the son of the sea to camp, but do not show yourself to the campers. Tell him to tell the campers that he was in the Lotus hotel and casino for a while. Got it? Good, now get going." He nodded his head, and ran off. Things are going to get quite interesting, I thought.

Annabeth POV(it's not going to be too long, just to have the son of Poseidon reach camp)
200 years have passed since Percy's death. 200 years have I been mourning his death. 200 years have I refused to date anyone. That's how hard I was taking Percy's death. That stupid seaweed brain! Why did he have to get himself killed! I was still blaming the gods, thinking of how stupid they were of blaming Percy of being a traitor, after everything he did for them. Of course, I didn't voice my opinion, fearing that the gods might take offence and kill me. The only people angry at the campers as much as I was were Nico, Thalia and Grover, who weren't here when Percy was killed. Since then, none of them visited camp except Thalia, who was forced to when Artemis came to visit, and even then she spent most of her time either with the hunters or with me, and she never stopped cussing. As I was reading another novel written by a really talented mortal reader (I still have dyslexia, but whenever I ask my mother to turn English into ancient Greek, she would accept), I heard the conch horn sound. It was still to early for dinner, so I assumed a new demigod has arrived. Slowly, I got of my cabin, and headed to half-blood hill. I was the first one to arrive there, and what I saw shocked me. This 10 year old kid looked so much like Percy, except that he had blue eyes instead of sea green eyes. I went up to him and said: "What's your name kid?" He answered my question calmly, like what he was seeing didn't surprise him:"My name's Paul Anderson, and I came from the Lotus hotel and casino".

I am planning something later on between Percy and Annabeth, and this chapter was just a filler. You'll get to see the God's reaction later on as I reveal him as a son of Poseidon to camp, and also, the gods still don't know about a new GOD to the sea. They only think that there's a new Lord of the sea, and don't really care since they think that he is no threat to them.
Also, I'll post the next chapter tomorrow.

Ch.4
Annabeth POV
I was shocked. How on earth does this kid come into camp and just says that he's from theLotus hotel and casino? I mean, seriously, how the heck did he know that? Most importantly, why was he stuck in there, and who in the world got him out of there? The kid, obviously really impatient, probably from his ADHD, snapped me out of my thoughts by saying:" Hello, who the hell are you, and why am I here?" Stunned, I said:"Don't you know what you are?" If he didn't, then how in Hades did he know to come here? The kid, answered calmly:"I know that I'm a demigod and all that, a guy told me everything about the gods and how they moved with western civilization and whatnot , and brought me here, but he just left. So really, I want to know why I'm here, and I want to know who my parent is!" There was a small amount of anger and frustration in his voice, but I let it slide since he was new. But, he knew about gods and demigods, and that surprised me. It must be an old demigod that brought him here, but why didn't he stay, I thought. "Hi Paul, I'm Annabeth, a daughter of Athena, godess of wisdom, and as for who your godly parent is, I'm sure that you will be claimed by him during the campfire tonight, so don't worry about that. By the way, do you know what the person that brought you here looks like?" He thought for a moment, then shook his head:"I'm sorry but I don't know. The only thing I know is that I was stuck there for around 200 years maybe? Maybe more, maybe less, I don't care, and he said that my dad was someone really powerful, and, if I'm angry, I can possibly destroy camp." I thought for a moment, then said:"The only gods who have kids that strong are Zeus and Hades, and judging by your blue eyes, I'd say you're a son of Zeus, but we will have to wait to find out. For now, follow me to the big house to introduce you to Chiron and Mr. D"(he stayed at camp since he liked it there). He simply nodded his head and followed me. The campers looked at him, then shifted their gaze to somewhere else. After all, they were pretty used to seeing new campers. After about 2 minutes, we reached the big house, and I saw Chiron in his weal-chair. When, he saw me, he smiled and beckoned me forward. Without waiting, I introduced the new kid to Chiron, and to my astonishment, he didn't look shocked that Chiron was a centaur. The guy that brought him here must have already told him that Chiron was a centaur, I reasoned. Chiron instructed me to bring him to cabin 25, since it was the cabin to the unclaimed children (Hermes made a fuss about having kids who weren't his kids in his cabin, so we built this cabin for the unclaimed kids). I saw Malcolm and asked him to guide this kid to cabin 25. He nodded slightly and took the kid. My attention shifted to Chiron:"Chiron, from what this kid told me, the person that brought him here said that he had the power to destroy the camp. Do you know if Zeus or Hades had any kid recently?" He shook his head:"I'm sorry my dear, but I do not know. We shall have to wait until the campfire or until dinner to know who his parent is. Also, remember, he may still be the kid of another god, like the god of strength." I thanked Chiron, and followed this new kid around, determined to know who's kid he is, and no, I'm not a stalker. It's just that this kid intrigued me. So all, day, I followed him, and saw that he was pretty good at sword fighting, and canoeing. However, he was really poor at archery, and everyone shifted away from him every time he took another arrow and tried to hit the target , failing miserably every time. The day passed like a blur, and I still don't know who his father is. He could be a son of Zeus, Hades or even Ares, since he was pretty good at sword fighting. Nico wasn't here to see if he was a son of Hades, since he was still angry at the campers for killing Percy, and he wasn't here to stop them, since he was doing a quest for his father, and Thalia was still with the hunters, and Jason and Hazel had absolutely no idea who he was. Actually, this kid had a good sense of humor, and he got along quickly with the Stolls and Leo. The conch horn sounded, so I led him to the dining pavilion to eat dinner. He sat alone at the table of cabin 25, and he was constantly mocked by the Ares kids because he was unclaimed, and they were complete idiots and jerks. At one point, the kid broke and yelled:"SHUT IT!" As soon as he said it, thunder clapped and black clouds were starting to gather around the borders, like a storm was brewing. Every one was a little bit scared, but I was finally happy, this kid was a son of Zeus. No soon had I said that that a glowing green trident appeared above his head, and to say we were shocked would be the understatement of the century. Even Chiron didn't know what to say, since Poseidon was killed. We heard a loud thump, and looked towards the beach where a cyclops, that I recognized as Tyson, was heading towards us, saying:" Our new Lord has claimed the son of Poseidon. Bow down to him, or suffer the wrath of the sea!" His tone was so firm, that everyone bowed before him. Still a little bit stunned, I said:" Tyson, since Poseidon is dead, how is he claimed? Aren't the gods the only people who can claim kids as there own?" He simply shook his head:" Yes Annabeth, Poseidon is dead, but our new Lord is the new god of the seas, and he has all the powers of Poseidon, along with another power that I will not mention. He is the last son of Poseidon, so if anyone hurts him, god or demigod, they will feel the wrath of the sea. Our Lord has said that he is the only one that can ride the pegasi without fearing to be hit by their hooves. Our position remains the same, we will not help Olympus in any war. That is all." No soon had he said that a hand formed by water came and took him back to the sea.
-Flashback-
It was about 10 days after Percy's death, and all the campers apart from me were having a sing along with the Apollo cabin leading it, and even the campers were in it. The flames were bright orange, until a horn sounded, and the cyclops army of the sea came out, led by Tyson, who said:"Demigods, gods, we have heard what you have done to Lord Poseidon, and our new Lord has decided to cut all ties with Olympus, and has refused to help all of you if another war arises, given the fact that you killed the god of the seas, Poseidon. From now on, anyone, whether it is a god or a demigod, if you come close to the beach, you will suffer a horrible death. And before you ask, since neither Zeus nor Hades can get into the water for another millenia since it will still be the realm of the sea, our Lord is strong enough in the water that he can defeat the rest of the gods with our help, and we will not tell you his name." Having finished talking, the army returned to the sea, leaving behind bemused campers.
-End Flashback-
It was really bad that the army of the sea won't help, since the titans are rising again, along with Typhon, and last time, the gods were loosing until Poseidon interfered, but this time, they were led by Nyx, since Kronos still hasn't reformed after Percy killed him. Percy. I still can't forget him, and each time I hear his name, a wave of sadness engulfs me. Why do the fates have to be so cruel to me?
Meanwhile, in Olympus
-How in Hades did a new god of the seas arise, and we didn't know about it!, shouted an angry Zeus.
-Father, calm down, it doesn't matter, with all the campers we have, we can easily take out the titans without his help, and since he ignores us, let us keep it that way, so as not to have to face 2 wars, reasoned Athena.
-Fine, but at least let me torture the last son of Poseidon.
-No father, it will only cause war between us. Perhaps after the titan war, but not now.
Zeus grumbled some curses under his breath, but nodded and said:" Hermes, tell camp Jupiter to regroup with camp half-blood. They will need all the forces they can get." Hermes simply nodded, and teleported out of the room. This is going to be a sticky situation, thought Athena.

OK guys, for this story, I'm going to alternate between 3 POVs: Annabeth, Percy and Paul. So, without further ado, here's chapter 5!
Ch.5
Paul POV
Ever since I got claimed by Poseidon, everyone has been ignoring me, except for Leo, Annabeth and the Stolls. For the rest of summer, the only thing I did was Pegasus riding, training and going to the campfire. Apparently, my father betrayed the gods by helping mother earth, who is evil by the way (I know, I really didn't expect it too!), and giving her information about Olympus and its defenses, so the gods killed him. Also, they killed the son of Poseidon, Percy Jackson, since he was suspected of working with his father to overthrow Olympus. I mean, come on! How stupid can these guys be if they think that the guy that saved Olympus twice, and that would die for his friends, would betray the gods! His fatal flaw was personal loyalty for crying out loud! So, because of this incident, everyone, especially the Zeus and Hades cabin, hated me. The Zeus cabin had 3 occupants: Thalia Grace, Jason Grace and Derrick Kid, and the Hades cabin 4 occupants: Nico, Hazel, Lily and Mark. Actually, Thalia was always with the hunters, so I rarely saw her, and Nico was always on quests for his father, so I didn't see him too much either. I didn't have too many problems with these 2, and Hazel would just ignore me, so the other 3 were making my life miserable. Every time I was in the arena training, they would gang out on me, and pushed me till I dropped on the floor. No one dared hurt me after the threat they heard from Tyson the Cyclops, so I usually didn't have too many injuries. After 2 months of training, I was able to beat everyone except the Ares, Zeus, Hades and Athena cabin, and it was frustrating. The Romans arrived a couple of days ago at camp after receiving a message from Hermes, and I did not want to stay with the 'order' freaks. I went to the big house and told Chiron that I was leaving till the beginning of next summer, and e just nodded, probably not caring about what I did. Grumbling, I went to the beach, and I almost stumbled as I realized that it was the first time at camp that I came to the beach while I was at camp! I plopped down in the sand and just stared into the vast sea. I don't know how or why, but it just calmed me down, and all my sense were wide open, and for the first time in a long time, I finally felt good! "I see that you have finally come" I heard a voice say softly. Quickly, I turned around and already had my sword out just in front of the strange man sitting on the water. Wait, sitting on water? As I realized who it was, I quickly bowed my head to the Lord of the sea. He just smiled:" Rise Paul, you do not to bow down to me brother." I was stunned, this guy was also a son of Poseidon."Yes Paul, I am also a son of Poseidon. After our father died, I sort of took over, and with the trident recognizing me as a true warrior, and transferring all the power of the ocean towards me, turning me into a god. As for why I'm here, I came with an offer. I would like you to come down to my underwater palace and learn the Greek and roman art of war and mixing them together. Of course, when summer begins, you will return to camp, as I cannot allow the gods to plot against you and to say you're a traitor just because you're spending time with me. Don't worry, after my training, you will be better at sword fighting than anyone at camp, since they never thought of combining 2 fighting techniques together. With time, I will even teach you a third fighting technique, but all in due time. So, what do you say brother?" I was stunned. The Lord of the sea himself was offering to train me, and give me hospitality in his palace. I wasn't going to think about it twice, and I quickly answered:"It would be an honor, my Lord". He looked annoyed:"Don't call me Lord, it makes it sound as I'm an old person. Just call me brother, it's bad enough that blackjack calls me boss. You will excuse me if I don't reveal my identity to you, since you can have a slip in tongue, and I don't the campers to know who I am" I nodded. He just smiled, and 2 hippocampy came to take us to his underwater palace. The cool thing? I was able to talk with and read the thoughts of all the underwater creatures!
