Dear Ellen, my older sister (49 yrs old) would be a great guest to have on your show. She has always been a generous daughter, sister, mom, significant other, supervisor, employee, neighbor, etc. My parents are 76 and 78 yrs old, and she and her family (significant other of 21 yrs, two adult daughters) live there with them. My sister an LVN and cares for my parents, which we are grateful for and works various shifts at an Adult Assisted Living Center. Whatever time she has at home is devoted to caring for her loved ones. This past year, we lost my brother over a two month period, her significant other attempted suicide in my parent's garage, of which she found him hanging and held him up while calling 911, which ended up saving his life. During this same time in our life, my mom was hospitalized for 2 months and almost didn't make it. I don't know how she survived such trauma, cared for her daughter who saw the cops cut the rope her dad hung himself on. My sister had to work during this time, stayed by my brother-in-law (how I see him) hospital bed side and skilled nursing home bed for over 6 months while he recovered. At her work, she is a program director and her job is an administrative one, but because of who she is, she goes above and beyond and plans family events on her personal time so her patients can continue to have family memories with their loved ones. My sister lives a very modest life and recently having car trouble. She needs a car to keep her job since her work is across town, she works late hours to cover medication dosing, and I just wish the world could see what a wonderful soul my sister has. My sister does not use social media and not aware that I'm writing you, which would make it even more special if you recognized her on your show. Please.
