We havn't had a pop idol in the UK for years, besides the US version is much better, eveen though I don't think last season was as good as previous ones.

I think the X Factor is the English equivalent now, as lutrina said, Pop Idol's not been around for years. I only ever watch the auditions for the hilarity of it, and in that respect American Idol has WAY funnier auditions.

X Factor actually. We have had some rubbish winners though. The only one I like is probably Leona. American Idol has better winners on the whole. Pop Idol was rubbish.
