From the पर्स of: Jane Porter 

There’s a lot of things to love about Jane Porter. She’s smart, artistic, adventurous, and has impeccable style. So, it only makes sense for us to venture into the jungles of Africa and imagine what Jane might keep in a modern day version of her purse.

Since Jane is always on the move vine surfing with Tarzan, we decided to give her a cross body bag, that will keep all the essentials handy at all times. The structure and added tassel reminded us of Jane’s Victorian-era fashions. We like to think that Jane wouldn’t totally abandon her London style, so these gorgeous bobby pins from Henri Bendel are something we think she’d keep on hand to remind her of home. Jane loves to sketch the world around her, so we had to include a small sketch pad and pencil that is perfect for drawing on the go.

The weather in the jungle can be unpredictable at best. One minute it’s beautiful and sunny, the next there’s a torrential downpour and an army of angry monkeys after you. So to keep Jane prepared for everything, we gave her a cute travel sized umbrella and a pair of sunglasses. And since it can get quite hot, a stylish water bottle, like this one from Lifefactory would definitely be useful for Jane. A couple of pretty hair ties like these ones from Emi-Jay are ideal for her to throw her hair up in a quick bun when it’s warm. With everything stowed away, she’s ready for wherever her travels make take her.
