I mean, yeah, since he is technically one. But when I think Winchesters he doesn't tend to come to mind. At least not at first.

Same as you, NCISLuverjk93. But I think that's mainly because he was shown and mentioned a lot less than other Winchesters.

And I think the writers really need to bring him back because that makes Sam and Dean just look like dicks which they are not.

Wouldn't he be too hell-wrecked to save by now, anyway? And I'm not sure how much the writers actually remember him. He was a total plot device.
