Like the comment above I think they are really good actors. But Elena is meant to be blond in the books but she isn't. Personally I'm glad she isn't. Damon who is played by Ian is aa amazing actor. And he plays the role really well. x.

i love the whole cast:) i even think the show is better than the books and i wasn't quite satisfied with the way that they changed elena a bit:)

I really like the cast but I would rather Elena was like she was described in the books and Damon with black eyes. Not that I mind very much but I have fallen in love with those black eyes!!!!!
I think Stefan is perfect and even better than the books describe him. And I love Bonnie too! I still wish there was a Meredith though...

i really like the cast personally im gladly surprise with Ninas acting she is soooooo good and i just love to hate Katherine, cant wait to see what the writers would do with her next season:). Paul is my weak link so there no doubt i love him and also Ian is doing an amazing job.

I'm not completely happy with who they chose as Elena and Bonnie, and I kind of wish they had Margeret in the show, but I'm more okay with it than I used to be. Stefan and Damon were casted very well. ^^

I'll be the first to admit that I didn't like the casting at all at the start of the show (except for Stefan and Damon) because I was a fan of the books before I even knew there was going to be a show. But they've grown on me :)

I love the cast, what I think is funny is that Candice Accola auditioned for Elena while Nina was auditioning for Caroline, but they switched parts because they Directors and Producers saw them as the other character.

Sure they don't fit into their book counterparts that much, but to me they are just perfect. All of the characters. Except I would prefer Bonnie and Damon as individuals where more like in the books. Same goes for Caroline :D.

I hate everybody in the books except stefan and damon, while in the tv vd I love EVERYONE these actors are AMAZING I adore Paul and Katerina above all and Nina Ian Steven it's one of the greatest casts ever seriously
