What is the point of Particle Shields if रे Shields can repel Radiation, Blaster Bolts AND Solid Objects too?

Aboard the Invisible Hand, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi & Chancellor Palpatine are trapped द्वारा रे Shields. Why can't they just walk through the shields?

My understanding of the 2 types of shields, was that I can't SHOOT through a रे Shield & I can't पंच through a Particle Shield. What's going on here?

My personal answer (may not be totally accurate) is that the रे shield seen aboard the Invisible Hand was either a certain/special type of shield that can just deflect anything, या that shield is actually a mislabeled particle shield. Not sure. Look it up on Wookieepedia. Maybe it's actually the other way around. Good observation.

Yes, solid objects can pass through रे shields, but रे shields also emit high amounts of voltage, making them fatal to most living things.
