It's My Party: Sophia झाड़ी, बुश Hosts LeSportsac 35th Anniversary Celebration in SoHo
I got the opportunity to stop द्वारा the LeSportsac 35th Anniversary party in SoHo that Teen Vogue hosted last Thursday. It was so fun to look around the boutique and see all the कैन्डी and cute little snacks (they brought us Izze sodas with colored straws and vanilla milkshakes!), but I was definitely anxious to see the host of the night's festivities: Sophia Bush!
She posed for the photographers, and then she and I got a moment to chat about her life, career, and fashion.
Teen Vogue: What are आप wearing?
Sophia Bush: It's a French Connection dress, all the jewelry is द्वारा House of Lavande spelled like Lavender without the R.
TV: And your shoes?
SB: YSL. [TV: They were the YSL Tribute Double-Platform Pump!]
TV: What's the best part of coming to events like these?
SB: Well, it's always nice to support magazines and brands that आप like, but the best part is seeing your प्रशंसक base!
TV: Tell me: Your character, Brooke Davis, has become a New York celebrity who lives this glamorous life. Here आप are, as Sophia Bush, doing the same thing! Is it art imitating life?
SB: There are things about Brooke and I are that are similar--our passion for फ्रेंड्स and for right and wrong. She's definitely the और provocative one--I've only had 4 boyfriends since high school! It's always great to be here, though. It's my second-favorite city in the world!
TV: सेकंड favorite?
SB: LA is my home, so that's first, but we shoot the दिखाना in Wilmington, NC, so I'm there a lot, too.
TV: What brought आप to New York then?
SB: I came up for Fashion Week, and went to the Catherine Malandrino दिखाना earlier today. [She also made a pit stop द्वारा the Reem Acra presentation and the Herve Leger द्वारा Max Azria मार्ग, रनवे show!]
TV: Who is your प्रिय designer?
SB: I had to miss two of his shows because we were filming, but Max Azria is my प्रिय designer because he's my प्रिय as a person--to be so humble! He and his wife are so passionate about people and about life. I'm so in awe of them! I mean, I could tell आप how much I प्यार Balenciaga and YSL, but I प्यार them because of their work. I प्यार Max because of who he is as a person.
I thanked Sophia and wanted to let her get back to the fans--there were still TONS of आप waiting for autographs and चित्र opportunities. Wasn't she amazing in person?
