Of course, he didn’t actually know Sim back then, considering they only met when Shane was about 30. I just thought it’d be fun to write this, and who knows? Maybe if Shane went to Australia when he was 16, he might have met Sim there? आप can decide that. So yeah. This IS set in Australia, not America. Because Australian raves are BETTER. Especially in Melbourne. c:

Anyway. Read on to see what happens when आप watch LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem video, listen to DECENT hardstyle music, and when you’re really bored. Sorry in advance to all American wannabe shufflers in advance- I’m sorry, but it IS the Melbourne Shuffle. Ah well. At least Shane is aware of his own failage.

Neon colours. Flashing lights. संगीत so loud आप could feel your skull shattering. The whole floor covered in a thin layer of water, reflecting the light and splashing with every footstep.

Shane loved it. He loved the tightly-packed Dance floor; he loved watching the silhouettes हटाइए to the music. The sweet vibrations that seemed to pulse all through the room.

So many people. All in various forms of Jumpstyle, Shuffle, या some other kind of ‘PHD’ inspired dance.

This was better than anything he had ever come across. Back घर in America, there was nowhere near as many raves, with nowhere near as many people there.

He just sat in the background, watching with a smile as the people danced, sipping on a beer.

Thank god for that fake ID... Shane thought with a smile- That was the only reason he managed to get in, considering आप had to be at least 18 to gain entrance.

The bar where he sat was primarily black, but true to the theme of any good rave party, it was covered in UV kandies, ‘PHD’ stickers, and glow. Shane himself fit in very well to the scene- Phatt pants, black and neon hoodie, kandies, and that’s not even mentioning all the UV piercings he had on चोटी, शीर्ष of his naturally neon green फर patterns.

Green shutter-shades over his eyes, Shane couldn’t help but notice one particular hardstyle junkie who seemed to be totally dominating the floor. He couldn’t help but be impressed- This guy was NUTS. A yellow and black hedgehog wearing the most badass pac-man phatties one could ever hope to see, and और piercings than Shane had- That was saying something.
Eventually, after several मिनटों of the most amazing shuffling one could ever hope to see, the Hedgehog made his way over to the bar, where he was met with a very friendly, “Hey! Pry! The usual, I assume?” from the barkeeper.

“Yeah!” The Hedgehog replied with a grin, taking a सीट अगला to Shane, “Hey! Raver Scum! आप new here? I haven’t seen आप around before.”

“I guess आप could say that.” Shane replied with a smirk, “Pry, huh? Not a bad nickname.”

“Psht, yeah, thanks bro. What do आप go द्वारा in these places?”

“Terrakizm.” Shane replied without a moment’s hesitation- In his sweet, rave world, that was his name. He didn’t go द्वारा anything else when at a party. He wouldn’t even give out his real name to anyone, saying that if they wanted to keep in contact, to find his email.

“Terrakizm...” Pry repeated, liking how it sounded, “Well, Terrakism, I haven’t seen आप get up all night! आप gonna dance या what?”

“Ha, I saw आप going out there. You’re the goddamn Messiah of Shuffling! I won’t, I kinda fail at shuffling...”

“I could tell- आप have an American accent.” Pry laughed.

“What does that have to do with anything?” Shane frowned.

Pry grinned, “American’s can’t shuffle. Period. Come on, get up and I’ll दिखाना आप how the pros do it.”

“I’m not sure that’s a good idea...”

“Come on! It can’t hurt, can it?” Pry कहा as he grabbed his arm, dragging him up to the floor.

And then he shuffled again- Pry, moving his feet in time but so damn fast आप could barely see just what was going on. Slipping across the floor so easily that it didn’t look as if he was using any effort at all. Shane just awkwardly stood there, not quite 100% sure what he was supposed to do.

“First of all, आप gotta feel it!”

No shit, Sherlock... Shane thought, knowing he already had THAT part down pat. It was और so the actual shuffling he had difficulty with.

“Just try and copy me!” Pry said, switching to a much simpler move; The Running Man.

Taking a deep breath and preparing himself for the worst, Shane started. He looked down at his feet, to see them slipping simply over the floor, and he was लॉस्ट in a brief moment of happiness as he realised that he was shuffling.

That was, until he tripped over his own foot and hit the ground, hard.

“You okay?” Pry asked, stopping his own dancing and leaning over the black and green HedgeBat.

“You asshole...” Shane muttered, “I TOLD आप I couldn’t shuffle...”
