OMG YES!!!!!!!! i HATE when ppl say" i love that guy, you know that one who plays___ in___!! OMFG i mean ppl say that they love a guy but they don´t even know his real name!!

wow, i never really noticed it until now, but it is pretty annoying, i never do it!!!!

maybe they think YOU don't know who he is, and are trying to help you.

The important thing is that they know he's great! Plus, sometimes I don't check names and faces, cause the actor sometimes ruins the character (If it had happened to you once, you'll try not to check ever again - trust me!)

It's a different story if they have trouble connecting names and faces, but then they just shouldn't use the word favorite. At all.

Seriously, He has been in so many movies how can you not know his name. He has been in at last three of my all time favorite movies not including the Harry Potter series. Robin hood, Die hared, and Quigley down-under. Come on he rocks! My favorite bad ass of all time, and I love Severus Snape character in the books so much I cried reading Deathly Hollows at the part were he shares his memory's.

I love Snape! Alan's okay, and he did an amazing job with his character, but I love Severus. :3

^THAT is very true!!! I actually think I'm not so much of a Snape fan (although I do love him with all my heart) as I am an Alan Rickman fan and that's why I like Severus so much!!!

sadly, for me is the other way. I adore Alan Rickman, you know that of course, but I'm absolutely, madly in love with Snape.

I put this because, it's something I really struggle with. I seriously have some sort of mental block when it comes to recalling actors names/faces.

I'm still not 100% sure which one Brad Pitt is. Seriously. I'll recognise a name at the beginning of a film, or a face during, but I just can't connect the two. So yeah... A couple of my favourite actors would be... the guy in John Q... and the guy in The Illusionist (and Fight Club). Don't ask me their names though.
