I think he cared for both in his own way. I wanna believe that he cared for Draco and tried to दिखाना him that there's a different way to live than what his father taught him. As for Harry, he cared for him, but I think only because he was Lily's son. If he was anybody else, I don't think he would have दिया a damn.
Harry Potter, he risked a lot to make sure Harry was सुरक्षित from Voldemort. He died protecting him. He never told Voldemort where Harry was and he never revealed the location of Grimmauld Place, where Harry was most likely to go. Severus never really helped Draco with anything, he just liked him better because he was Slytherin, if Harry was in Slytherin, personally I think Harry would have been Snape's तारा, स्टार student. Snape acted on Dumbledore's orders and never defied him, he led Harry to Godric's sword in DH, he was always on Harry's side and therefore always protected him, no matter how little he showed it.
I think he cared for both. He risked his life protecting Harry, and ultimately died because of it, but he also went out of his way in HPB to help Draco. He killed one of his only फ्रेंड्स so that Draco wouldn't have to.
Harry. He loved Lily and protected Harry for her. Even though he was awful to Harry, he really did care about him. He only protected Draco because he made the unbreakable vow with his mother, so he had to.
I think Snape cared for Harry और than Malfoy because even though he hated Harry's father, he was only pretending to be a death eater for Dumbledore. He had to play his part well so he had to befriend the closest thing to Vldemort...the Malfoys.

I'm not sure he cared for the two boys actually. I mean on his own accord.
Harry : Severus didn't give a damn for him. See the "After all this time" memory. He cared for the boy because he loved Lily. Not canon but plausible : there might have been an Unbreakable Vow between Severus and Albus to ensure his loyalty to the Headmaster - hence his taking care of the boy was motivated द्वारा duty.
Draco : Severus cared for the boy because he was his godfather (though I don't know if that detail is canon). And of course, because there was an Unbreakable Vow. A Vow taken because it would keep his cover as a double agent intact and fit in the Cause of the Order of the Phoenix.
Severus was moved द्वारा personal motives (i.e. his प्यार for Lily). Yet, he took considerable risks for Harry. Thinking of it, he even died for Draco. Remember, he still had his wand when Nagini bit him. I tend to think he let himself being bitten so as to send Voldemort on a false track and protect Draco. Severus had realized that Draco would be the अगला victim of the Dark Lord. The 2nd clause of the Unbreakable Vow (to protect Draco from harm) killed him in the end.
Harry because he is the son of the प्यार of his entuire life, Lily. But obviously it's a love/hate thing because he is also the son of the man he hated the most.
I honestly believe it was Harry was a conscience choice to care for where Draco was और of a part of the deception. If he didn't give Draco extra attention Lucius would be up in Hogwarts every other दिन and he would रिपोर्ट back to Voldemort.
Like what lilith said. I think he cared for both in his own way. He had a job to do with both of them. He cared for Harry because of Lily and he cared for Draco because of Narcissa. I do believe though that Snape favored या prefered Draco और over Harry though. Only because Harry wasn't just Lily's son, he was James' too.
I would say Draco because Snape only cared about Harry because he was the son of Lily( His true प्यार for his entire life) if Harry wasn't the son of Lily Snape wouldn't have put a single eye on him.Even if Snape actually risked his entire life to protect Harry from Voldemort, all his action to protect Harry was for Lily and not for Harry himself ;) .
I think... well... severus and draco have that "favorite student/favorite teacher" relationship... but I think there's only favorism partly because they both hate harry, and both are pretty similar in personality(being cold and whatnot)
as for harry; severus hates him because he reminds him so much of james. but the fact that harry is lilys son keeps him wanting to be protective of harry- I think he personally does care for harry, but only because hes lilys son. so basically, for harry it'd be half and half... hated because of james, cared about because of lily.
severus is protective of both- wanting to protect draco of the dark lord(with the unbreakable vow); and harry, wanting to protect lilys son, and to prepare him. its all completely mental. but I do think he cares for them in different terms.
Ofcourse Harry !! Lily's son !! Draco was just a student to him plus he ONLY favored him because he was in his house WHICH he does to every Slytherin... (I mean he favors every slytherin)but harry's case is SO much different I think he cared about both but harry more...
