I remember being slapped and spanked by my mother for almost any little thing I did as a child; I used up all the soap, I ran around, any little thing.

Just my step father. My mother never layed a finger on me. She never even yelled at me once.

Used to, then they made it a law not to hit in public, so when we go home, we'd behave. :)

i did deserve it,but i did learn my lesson.and on top of thAt i got no tv,no games,etc,and the lectures.but it brought me up to be a great person

I've alway's been pretty well behaved.I think i've only been hit/spanked 2 times ever by my parent's.And i think i was 5 and it was because i was crying [my mom went somewhere 4 a long time and i missed her.].So my Father spanked me.

But, my parent's never really belived in spanking and hitting, or grounding.

Though, my mom did spray the hose at my face, but she said it was an accident and she was aiming for my dad:)

All the time. My parents liked to take their anger out on me- since I was an easy target. I'm not so much of a target nowadays.

Well when I was really throwing a tantrum... But I don't think it was enough for a stick to come! D: Whenever we broke them (and my little brother broke a lot!) my dad would go buy more! But now it's just really loud screaming -_-

But my mums really tiny so I barely felt it lol I even joked to my sister that I think a fly was trying to hit me when my mum slapped my back and we LOL xD

My parents would never hit me, I don't believe spanking me a couple of times when I was little counts just as long as you use your hand (which my parents did) not a belt because then you can tell how hard you are hitting them. I have gotten yelled at quite a lot because my dad can be very strict but I understand why he was yelling at me. Also I've been grounded a couple of times but that really didn't amount to much.
