I have been smoking for 5 years now.. yes since I was 13. I've tried to quit. My mom offered my to pay me 50 euros for each month that I had quit...but unfortunally I only lasted for 3 days.

I'm definately addicted.. and it's soo hard to quit.

I really don't understand why people smoke.. it's GROSS!

If other people want to die young it's up to them. Also my mother smokes and most of her friends do so I've been around it my whole life. I honestly don't care if other people do, just don't ask me to.

I was just in Europe and when someone smokes around me, I always feel like puking and I gag alot. I can't imagine what happens if I do smoke. I'm going to die within 10 days if I do.

that's just nasty! I don't know why anyong would want to do that to themselves. There's so many bad consequences and I've never found one solid good one. I can't even go over to my best friend's house because her parents smoke. Besides, a good person like myself would never lower themselves to such a thing. I'm not saying smokers are bad people though, they can be the coolest people ever, but they're all making a bad choice.

...I sometimes mind, sometimes I don't, but my grandfather kept smoking until he couldn't breathe anymore. He was rushed to the hospital and thankfully, was saved.... He stopped smoking since then.

there are two things in this world that are 1)disturbing, 2)make the user think they look good(at first), and 3)cost an arm and a leg...cigarettes and plastic surgery...THEY DON'T WORK FOLKS!

Smoking is soooooo gross! Any one in my family who ever smoked is now dead or still smoking. Not only is it deadly in many, MANY ways, but it also stinks. The smell sticks to your clothes, you hair, your car, your house. And it even ruins the walls of your home! (smoke can cause your walls to have a yellow ring around it) I can't be around cigarettes at all! My make me cough and gag. Whenever I'm around cigarette smoke I hold my breath always! It also ruins your teeth, and it also gives you wrinkles! There are so many reasons not to smoke. Just don't do it. Ever. If you are smoking, there are lots of programs to help you quit. I'm dead serious.

Whenever my Dad's friend visits they just sit in the yard and chat while smoking for hours.

My granddad died in part from lung cancer caused by *secondhand* smoke so ya I don't approve of smoking at all
