yes.... my name is misspelled /mispronounced sooo often that it started to annoy me....

I don't think I've ever met a person that mispronounced or misspelled my name wrong. Heck, even if they somehow mispronounce my name, I wouldn't care because I don't like my name too much.

I wouldn't be annoyed if I had some sort of long or complicated name, but that's not the case. My name is just four little letters C-O-D-Y. Yet somehow all throughout my life people have called me Cory or even Colby.

I'm so used to it anymore that I'll take anything.
I can name maybe 3 people who got it right on their first try.

I`m pretty sure that almost everyone has had trouble to spell my name correctly at one point. And I can even say to them out loud that there is that one letter in it which makes it weird to spell, but they still will go and call me Anita or something like that. :@

Honestly my name is misspelled so often, I stopped caring long ago. My name is Kathryn, which isn't as common of a spelling as the others. I almost always have my named misspelled as "Katherine" or "Catherine". Heck, I've had my name spelled "Cathrin" in the past. It doesn't matter to me as long as it's something like a misspelling on my Starbucks order, a card, online, etc. If I got my name tattooed and it was misspelled, however, that would be a different story.

My last name is mispronounced so often that I just don't care anymore. I even stopped correcting people because I know that no matter how many times I say it, they're not gonna get it right. I'm actually really surprised when someone pronounces it correctly.
It's not even that weird of a name!
