^ Well, considering it on a wider scale, that could be applied. Even if it might be meaningless though, I'm more interested if you are the one to shape the life you are leaving right now or just going along with the flow regardless of the outcome !!!!

I don't believe that people have a "destiny" that's only something applied in movies and TV shows. (And video games)

I think in some sort of way both circumstances exist. I think everyone does have a predetermined destiny but at the same time it can be altered based on the choices,probabilities,etc that happens. Essentially like a lifeline but potentially if we were to assume alternate dimensions,realities exists. Then those lifelines could also be very different from each other.

^ What Blind said. I agree. Predetermined destiny doesn't necessarily mean "permanent destiny". We have free will after all.
