You both are way too young to answer this, pain does last forever, if you are talking about the sting of a love gone bad, yeah, you might be down for a while & then you finally pick yourself up & maybe try again but if you are talking physical pain, it can & has for me after my wreck 17 years ago. The former really depends on how deeply you loved someone, after 23 years of marriage & someone walks out on you because of circumstances beyond your control, yeah, that sticks with ya & the latter, well that shoudl be self explanatory so whichever you mean, it's still disagreeable, you are way too young to know about real pain yet!

@pmomm38: It seems like you don't know anything about true pain. I feel bad for you about your wreck, but believe me, mental pain is much more of a torture than any physical pain. But how much it hurts truly depends on you, I believe. And that's what I meant to say with this poll, but it appears you're just too young of mind to have understood that. Believe me, I've been through what most call an ordeal as well.
